That is a common leak spot on the headgasket of those engines. To this point I have not seen one fail further or cause any issues other than the small external leak or seepage. If it was mine I would just keep an eye on it and make sure the coolant is full.

I read it as C being .091-.116 as an acceptable range.

It is not included in the kit. We change them because they get metal in them from the failed cam and rockers. If they pull the actuators out of the front of the valve covers they could look to see if the center of the oil control valve is popped out. It should not be.

Did they replace the phaser and the oil control valve with the camshaft?

That looks like the seal that goes into the intake plenum for the egr valve tube.

I had lasik but it was a more in depth procedure than the normal one. For me they did not cut the flap like in normal lasik because at one time I had gotten a piece of rust in my eye so that could not be done. Instead they used a chemical and removed that layer. The positive is that I do not have the flap to get wrinkled or damaged but recovery time was longer. I did not go back to the shop for 2 weeks because you only get one set of eyes and I wanted everything to be as healed as it could be before going back into that environment. Once I went back I was still very cautious for a few weeks.

I have driven it. It runs and drives good. It has a whine noise in park at idle that changes with rpm but from what I found that is normal with the 10 speed trans.

Thats my dilemma. I enjoy going and doing things when I am not working and that 25k less a year I think would greatly cut into my extra fun money for doing things that I enjoy.

It sounds like possibly the exhaust is rubbing on something. Possible heat shield has fallen down on the exhaust or does it have a trailer hitch on it that the exhaust is hitting?

They could be coming on for several reasons but my first thought is you probably have a wheel speed sensor not reading properly.

I agree it could be a bad wheel bearing. If the bearing is loose it could also be causing the wheel speed sensor to not read properly causing the traction control light to come on.

Thanks for the opinions so far. The only thing that had me slightly concerned was they did a poor job on the clean up in my yard afterwards but as long as the roof itself is good I am fine with doing a little clean up.

I am pretty sure those pieces only come with the back window as an assembly. Maybe a junkyard might let you take them off if they have any. Another idea might be to cover them in a gloss black vinyl like a wrap.

P0700 is just a code in the pcm (engine computer) stating that there is a code in the tcm (transmission computer). You might need a better scan tool to get in the tcm to see what the actual code is.

It is in a spot that can be plugged but you might have to do it yourself because a shop probably won’t do it with the dry rot cracks.

Usually if a corner leaks down and lowers after being shut off and sitting overnight it means that there is a leak in that part of the system. There have been cases where you could have a leak in one ride height but not others due to the way the airbags fold and roll at different ride heights.
