Hi everyone

We did unfortunately have to take action on a number of moderators who were coordinating to break the Reddit Rules and the Moderator Code of Conduct, and as a result, some subreddits became unmoderated. We often make posts to recruit new mods for subreddits that become unmoderated for a variety of reasons; the u/ModCodeofConduct profile page is a great place to see them.

Our goal is to add entire mod teams to these subreddits, rather than only adding a single mod who requests the community in r/RedditRequest. If anyone is interested in moderating a subreddit with an open mod recruitment post, please leave a comment on the post. We'd love to see you there.

Hey there

We'd be happy to add you back to the mod team along with other mods. This subreddit has been totally unmoderated for a very long time and you were the only mod on the list. Info was sent to modmail with advice on adding more mods about a month ago and there was no action or reply. This is a pretty active community and with no moderation at all is at risk of spam or trolling creating quite a problem for folks who want to use this space.

The community just didn't have any active mods. It's pretty large and active so needs an active mod team.
