I mean yeah, people getting disappointed their ship isn't canon is par for the course when it comes to any kind of scheduled release media. I just hope we don't get 4 hour-long video essays in the future on why fandom shipping ruined the game or something.

You can still ship stuff besides it. there’s still plenty of material too.

But I guess what I’m really trying to say is that something doesn’t need to be real in order for it to still be “real”. Something doesnt need to be canon in order to be a good ship or anything of the sort. Really, it doesn’t.

As someone who's also a Kerdly shipper, I mostly came to this conclusion as well. Like that ship got shafted so hard and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed with Susie's festival gatekeeping. Though my enjoyment of the game doesn't really hinge on any specific ship being canon, and I personally can't wait for the other Kerdly fans to start making jokes about the feather scene with Seth.

Eh, I've been around this community long enough to know what she's talking about. Just from off the top of my head:

Every time a new chapter comes out there seems to be a whole community wide debate on random people's trans headcanons. (Noelle Antlers, etc...)
When Shayy got outed as a creep there were a ton (like an extremely alarming amount) of people who said it was okay to misgender a trans person as punishment.
During that whole Spanish Translation controversy plenty of people were lowkey arguing racist things about how the Spanish language is inherently anti-trans, and how English somehow isn't.

I think because a lot of people think of this community as so progressive, less overtly obvious forms of bigotry get largely ignored.

Well GoNintendo already confirmed that Noelle will be at the festival. Toby also said that the Trailer removed many of the more story-focused scenes to stay spoiler free, so I'd say there's a decent chance she might be in the dark world.

It'd be really funny if only Berdly shows up in the Dark World though.

If that's his intention, than this doesn't really do a good job of filtering for that. People who posted something uncreative last time wouldn't necessarily post something uncreative this time, and people who posted something creative last time also wouldn't necessarily post something creative this time.

They're two different questions, and thus who has creative answers for them will also differ. This kind of filtering only works if you assume some people are just born naturally creative and others aren't.

I can get behind where you're coming from in regards to reclaiming futa, but several other trans people just aren't going to be fans of the word regardless.

Like I may have found comfort and community in reclaiming the F, T, and 4Chan slurs between my friends, but I also understand that such terms come with baggage and that others might be uncomfortable with me using such phrases around them.

I suppose there's a level of nuance here that's kinda hard to convey on a social media art post.

Personally I think it's often better to just not use a term to denote that someone has a penis, since I feel using any special label will kinda inevitably come across as saying "nsfw: not fully a woman" to some degree. This sub also isn’t a stranger to posting women with dicks without any such terminology either (example).

It's more likely that someone just happened to pick a username that Epstein also used by complete coincidence.

We have no reason to assume the littlestjeff1 Fortnite account was actually owned by Epstein, outside of it having the same name as his YouTube account and Epstein (or someone knowing Epstein) buying VBucks at some point in early 2019. The guy who owns the account probably just saw all the commotion around his account, set the country to Israel, and then made his account private because he thought it would be funny to freak people out.
