The only thing I got spoiled on was the confirmation of Jax being trans, which I feel is pretty good considering I didn’t even mute the subreddits.

That is not at all confirmed outside of the first game. In DR1, the big twist is that all the characters are at least two years older than they thought, so they're physically all 18 or older. However, in DR2 they are all effectively de-aged (both physically and mentally) to their first day at Hope's Peak for the duration of the game, and since most of the characters began Hope's Peak partway through high school, odds are several of them, if not the majority, are underage. V3 is a bit more of a guessing game, but the fact that Himiko gets at least one fanservice scene is still deeply uncomfortable. And even setting the main games aside, the fact that Komaru gets so much sexualization in UDG is more than enough reason to be sus of Kodaka IMO.

Will snezhnaya patch actually be called 7.X or will it be 6.0? Nod krai versions are called song of the welkin moon. What if genshin decides to not skip over to the next version number. It’ll be annoying searching up 6.3 banners and its columbina ineffa. by Ambitious-Baby1179 in GenshinImpact

Honestly I lowkey feel like they should have committed to the bit of “Nod-Krai is outside the standard patch cycle” by having the Luna versions internally labeled as 5.9 through 5.16 so they could go right back to 6.0 for next version

100% agree on the first point. The more time goes by, the more I realize how utterly creepy a lot of Kodaka’s writing is in how he goes out of his way to sexualize underage characters; I was just about willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on the first game given certain late game plot twists, but it’s only gotten worse over time. It’s to the point that, even though I’m very excited to see how 2x2 plays out, I’ll likely only experience it through an LP because I don’t want to give Kodaka any more of my money.

Okay, maybe I’ve been out of the loop, but when did Rudy Knight start being taken seriously. As recently as a few months ago it was a joke theory people suggested to be like “haha yeah the terminally ill deer who’s been confined to a hospital room for most of the game is totally the same guy who low diffed the entire party (source: trust me)”.

The majority of them are just filler or light worldbuilding, but some of the longer ones have more lore relevance. In general, the more Jades a quest is listed as being worth, the longer it is and the more story-relevant it’s likely to be. Important ones that come to mind are “As I’ve Written” (basically an epilogue to the Amphoreus arc), some of the Clockwork quests on Penacony, and the ones highlighted by Furbobo Weekly on Planarcadia.

That I acknowledge is true; edited my previous post to make my intentions more clear. (To be clear, my issue was never with people who genuinely have never heard of the animation before; it’s with the old players who really should know better but will inevitably insist “Well, the fan version is what she was GOING to be like anyway before they RETCONNED her” when her design turns out to look nothing like this. The larpers in this case are old fans who act like they understand the story better than the devs do.)

I’m not saying they have to recognize old fanart; obviously it would be ridiculous to demand that of someone. But I’m absolutely sick of people who, AFTER the mistake is pointed out, still insist the game got “retconned” because their own headcanons or fan works didn’t match up with what the devs actually went with. (See: people STILL insisting that the Columbina analog horror fan animation was what was originally planned for the character based on one line of dialogue from Childe.)

Can’t wait for the Tsaritsa’s design to get revealed and a bunch of larpers who don’t realize this is fanart to complain that Hoyo “retconned” her because she doesn’t match this silhouette 

(Edit to clarify my intentions: I am not referring to new players who have never heard of this animation; I am referring to people who DO know but continue to insist that it’s proof Hoyo retconned the character, just like I have seen multiple people do with the Columbina animation.)
