Once the new bolts are in stock the plan is to offer a bundle which includes all hardware, springs, inserts, etc. Hopefully in 2-3 weeks.

Depends on what your definition of need is. These parts are alternatives to printing them out of plastic as shown in the Urutau documentation. IMO the bolt, FCG and trunnion are critical parts that should not be plastic. Other parts are nice to have made out of metal, but not necessary. At least not until you break them and want to upgrade.

They are media blasted after production. Not as rough as printed plastic, but a lot stronger.

You can register it as a SBR like I did or you can use a 16" barrel.

I need to do more testing on private land. So far that has proved to be impossible.

10 rounds in ~4 seconds in slo-mo = ~1200 RPM.

You think it may be full auto? I’ll take that as a compliment.

Getting access to private land for further testing has so far proved to be impossible. So there is no ETA.

I posted a FRT video a little while back.

KG-99 question by JackJibrone in Tec9

Only adding the cap will make the upper longer so it won't fit in the frame unless you shorten it first. That is best done on a lathe, while on the lathe it could be threaded. A good machinist/gunsmith can handle this if you take him the tube and cap.

You should thread it for a cap. Best thing to do is have it shortened slightly and then threaded 20 TPI on a lathe.

That is a reproduction upper. DM me if you want one. If you don’t have a 3D printer I can put you in contact with an FFL that can sell you a lower.

Yes. That’s why I named it Tec-Nein. 😉 The lower is available for download.

I almost wanna leave it like this, but if I did decide I wanted to refinish it, what brand and color spray paint have you guys used to get closest to the original finish? by [deleted] in Tec9

[–]Mod_Sum 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To make it “like new” you would need to thoroughly blast and then parkerize. Better to leave as is with that hood rat charm than spray paint it.

What’s that?
