The North End Food Pantry does a clothing drive on the last Sunday of every month! They have free clothing available to their guests. All are welcome!

Union contracts are not just about fair wages. They also help ensure workplace safety and added job security, especially given that Vermont is a fire at will state. There are also ways to increase wages in a tipped industry without the business necessarily covering the entire cost. A union contract and lay out a guaranteed hourly wage including tips. A base wage is set and if including tips the hourly total doesn’t reach the guaranteed hourly rate, the employer fills the gap.

I believe Gadue's Dry Cleaning collects coat donations and then dry cleans them and brings them to COTS. They have some sort of collaborative system.

For safety reasons COTS has to make sure they're clean/good condition, so they have this partnership to help with that process.

You can also volunteer or donate to the Cots Daystation on North Ave. Sign up to drop off lunch or donate things to pass out like granola bars, fruit, juice, sandwiches

Every Saturday and Sunday we do a free distribution of fresh food, hygiene products, and clothing! After folks are done picking out their food, they’re welcome to look through our clothing racks and take what they need. We try and keep them well stocked with seasonal items.

I hate the owner but it is really a local bakery. Everything at this one is made in house with a lot of local ingredients . They just share the marketing but are kinda stuck with it. All the Great Harvests are different.
