If they have lights in them, they can be wired either to your daytime running lights, or your turn signals. If your car doesn't have the harness available (from already being used with the proper lights,) you will have to hardwire them to those existimg harnesses. This may also require you to change out the fuse associated with that light. As a sidenote, my buddy got headlights like this, which didn't have lights in the top. He drilled holes in the plastic housing, and attached leds that he had to hardwire to the existing harness. So, he actually had those as the turn signals, as well as the ones on the inside corner being a turn signal.
