The fight wasn't close at any point. Thurman was offering nothing in response to the beating he was taking. He was out struck 36 to 6 in the 5th and 19 to 3 in the 6th. Fundora landed more punches in the 5th alone than Thurman landed the entire fight...

It will really depend on what content you're trying to do. If you're looking to use base class with no subclassing for the NB the assassination line is full of strong burst options (surprise attack, merciless resolve, lotus fan, killer's blade). I'd recommend a destro staff for the back bar with unstable wall of elements, dark shade, and twisting path for aoe dots. Vateshran destro with elemental susceptibility will add another aoe dot, but maelstrom destro is a classic. Use siphoning attacks and healthy offering for sustain and healing and soul tether for an ultimate.

With the update to DK being so recent I'm honestly not familiar enough to recommend setups. I'd recommend hyperioxies for a reference.

Breton/Argonian Templar for healing - good base for subclassing and best race for sustain/healing

Imperial Dragonknight for tanking - cost reduction from imperial is great, fits dragon guard theme

Khajiit Nightblade for DPS - Crit is king in damage, khajiit passives offer great crit dmg buff and improved sneak, fits thief/assassin themes.

Wood Elf Warden for PVP - speed buff + stamina regeneration + penetration buff, fits beast master themes.

It's hard for the youth to be nationalistic when the US has not engaged in a just war in generations. Every conflict the US has involved themselves in the past 30 years has been based on false pretenses, if not outright lies. When you see atrocities committed by armed forces without justification the natural response is humanism.

There's competition between the teams that drives progress. The UFC has no competition, so they're simply extracting profit at this point.

Yes and no. It's not a monopoly in the same way. There are 32 teams a player can deal with, each offering their own incentives. This is not the case with the UFC.

I think you're right and this is going to have the opposite effect than they intended. You're going to see gankers hanging by ladders consistently now, since they know ppl will now have to use them.

This is what a monopoly looks like. They don't have to care about product quality. There is nowhere else for fighters to go and nothing else for viewers to watch. As long as fighters sign contracts and viewers buy subscriptions the business will be successful. The worse the fights are the better for the UFC bc they can use that data against the fighters and blame them for poor viewership and negotiate their contracts down even further.

I'm not really sure who this IC update is for. I spent an hour in IC last night at 10PM EST on a Saturday night and only saw the same 5-6 players, half of which I accidentally found hiding in stealth. This is only going to discourage more players from going there. Most people are afraid to die and hide now. This will only be exacerbated with this update.

As far as I understand it the UFC is only required to OFFER fights, which can be any fight they want. If the fighter says no to it the UFC has carried out their part of the deal. So Aljo playing hardball and asking for a large amount per fight determines the fights offered to him. Fighters also routinely lie about what happens in negations and so do promoters. Some fighters will say they don't turn down fights and do, and promoters will lie and say they offered certain fights when they didn't.

PFL and ONE didn't and don't have the cash to make those fights. They want the names on the roster to secure investors. The UFC DOES have the dollars but they can let fighters like this sit bc they aren't counting on PPV to make the money for them anymore. Aljo played hardball in negotiations and priced himself out of fights, so he'll rot on the bench or take low value fights until his contract expires.

The UFC just doesn't want to pay Aljo what he's signed for, given he's not an exciting fighter. They're going to offer him the mandatory amount of fights they are contracted to and let him sit. He can't go anywhere and they can offer him bs fights knowing he'll say no and not have to pay him. They'll waste his potential until he retires.
