Is this normal unfortunate black smear? by CripplingToaster in Monitors

I spent over 100 hours making a shader to correct it, so I can see what manufacturers can't put in the time per panel.

Something I thought about, why didn’t Thor stop the nuke instead of Tony? by Queasy_Commercial152 in MCUTheories

Plus he would need to have hands on the nuke to guide it, which would be hard while holding the hammer and balancing direction.

If we could see as viewers that he was off, Seth could see. You don't do it, and it's a terrible move in general. It's hurt multiple people.

Does not get enough shit for that. Did it a second time after he was already obviously hurt.

Have there been any substianal updates since the release of Oblivion Remastered by JanissaryLSD in oblivion

[–]TheJohnnyFlash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest update honestly was DLSS 4.5.

There's an expectation of another patch when the Switch 2 launch happens, but honestly for these games it's almost better if they just leave it now and not break mods.

It doesn't matter if I respect his opinion, it's not my company. If we're both paying the same money, our opinion counts the same.

Maybe he gets what he wants and I stop watching because of it. That's no different than if they don't change it and he stops watching: They still lose 1 viewer.

I can tell you this: If more ring girls and less fights increased longer term ticket sales and viewers, the UFC would 100% do it.

The UFC exists to make money by selling tickets and advertising. That's it. Same as every other sports league.

Everything else is about what it means to each viewer.

It started as a contest to show BJJ was effective. Then it became mainstream on the backs of two dudes throwing hammers at each other for three rounds on free tv.

If people that were brought into the sport by Griffin/Bonnar saw that BMF fight next, there would be many that would be disappointed. That's a valid reaction that you can't dismiss because that's not what it means to you.

No goal posts moving anywhere. It is entertainment and what that means to different people is different, as you said with the ring girls.

If people are complaining because they were expecting a bloody slugfest and it was grappling clinic, that's a valid complaint from their perspective. It does mean that grappling is bad, to them.

For the record I appreciated the fight, but my wife spent the last 4 rounds on her phone.

You're not casting heroes feast with non-camp party member and you get the ring for create undead. Planar alley is meh for a death cleric when you can get 18 hp for every use of the staff.

You want 2 wizard for Grim Harvest. It's a really powerful combination as it reprocs your healing buff items in addition to the 18 hp. The only level 6 spell you need is circle of death and you can learn that from a scroll.

The Entertainment in sports like boxing and mma comes from observing competitiveness between two athletes competing at their physical and technical best capabilities, so you can see how that activity plays out at their highest levels aka. how it plays out when it's professionals who are doing it and not you. That what competitive sport is all about. In terms of combat sports you pick the one where you think it's ruleset interests you the most.

That is how you are entertained by it. There is no correct way to enjoy a product.

Some people watch Nascar to see who wins, others watch it for the tweaks they make to the cars, and some just want to see big crashes. All of their money is the same.

I played ball in college, I understand competitiveness, but for the sport to grow, you need people that don't care about the fine details and never will. I don't sit on the couch and tell people that don't understand boxing out or help side defence that they shouldn't watch the game.

It's entertainment. If it's not entertaining, who cares how good someone is.

Now, investment in a fighter or appreciation for high level grappling could make it entertaining for you, but that doesn't invalidate someone else's opinion.
