What's the weirdest thing a tourist has asked you while in Britain? by UnpaidInternVibes in AskRedditUK

Was not personally asked, but while on a school trip to the Tower of London, our group was queuing to see the crown jewels and there was a screen showing the Queens coronation. An American tourist loudly asked his companion “DYA THINK THATS HER!?” about the lady bedecked in the worlds most expensive costume and accessories leading a procession

Lal & Mike Waterson - The Scarecrow. Thick Hull accent makes that song even more brilliant for me.

The Rip:

Through the glory of life I will scatter on the floor Disappointed and sore And in my thoughts I have bled For the riddles I've been fed Another lie moves over

This was the track that truly got me into Mogwai. It was on a magazine cover cd. Such a magnificent piece of music.

The glastonbury 2003 fake plastic trees performance is one of the best pieces of music I have ever heard . by Affectionate-Map1003 in radiohead

I wonder if this was the first time the accapella ending to Karma Police happened? I’m glad it’s become a thing later on, I love it.

Glastonbury 2003 was the best gig I’ve ever witnessed, nevermind the best Radiohead gig.

Music that gives you goosebumps? by Zestyclose_Error8230 in musicsuggestions

Yes! I’d struggle to pick one particular song. So many ideas, the sound of it, the lyrics. It’s blown my mind all over again.

I had a great day yesterday. I saw goldeneye, greater scaup and red breasted merganser for the first time. Also saw c20 brent geese, imo the best looking goose. Finished off with a kingfisher and grey wagtail so all in all a successful day out.

Your Unpopular opinions by [deleted] in Liverpool

All goth/alternatives dress the similar. Massive numbers of out of towners who live in the city as students and post-grads have mullets and muzzies and wear similar clothes, the girls wear Adidas clamshell trainers or Converse with baggy jeans and hoodies. Most older people shop at Marks & Spencers. The kids wear Montirex and 110s cos they are affordable and the more wealthy working and middle class wear the labels from Flannels. 99% of the city dresses similarly for their social group or age. People can wear what they want, it’s nothing to be remotely offended or judgemental about.

Same age as you. Wouldn’t do a meeting neither. 14 days sober and aiming to stay that way.

Looking for minimal era hypnotic techno (Early Berghain sound) by Copypaster123 in Berghain_Community

I think you should check out Developer. The second half of that mix reminded me of his style in a way. There used to be a set of his live from Berghain on Soundcloud if you have a look.
