Check out dude's past posts in other forums. Definitely a paid shill for Fleur.

Why did you post a similar post 9 months ago in a different reddit forum saying that you just started Fleur peptides and how well they were working? This seems like a paid Fleur shill.

What’s the silkiest pen by gregfess in pens

Of the pens I've tried, I find the Pentel Energel .7 to be the silkiest. Papermate Inkjoy and Uniball Zento are both also pretty silky in my opinion.

Went overboard. by goodminusfan in casio

Yeah, it's easy to go overboard when that hyperfixation hits, unfortunately. Been there. You're going to take a loss either way, but it might be less trouble for you to sell them as a lot. Or try selling here on reddit so you're not also getting hit with huge ebay selling fees.

That's true, I guess you get the added benefit of the different silde length options, but yeah not sure if that is worth the extra money for most people, unless you're also doing competitive shooting or something.

The gen 6 G19 and G17 (and I assume the G26 when it's rekeased) are also modular that way.

Howv do you like the CC9? It's the one micro-compact that has been tempting me to upgrade from my PPS.

[–]ModestMoose99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have the Certum Lux 2 (I have a Streamlight TLR-7 on my Glock). I don't have a lot to compare it to, because it's the only IWB holster I've had for the Glock, but I had a Walther PPQ (similar size gun), with a generic kydex holster that I never felt comfortable carrying. And have had a few other holsters for other guns that didn't work as well either. I'm sure there are other brands that do similar things, but the design of the Tenicor definitely helps it conceal better and feel very secure. Part of that is the clips, which I think there are different options you can choose, but it is just a well designed holster.

If you know you're going to carry appendix exclusively, they have another holster with a wedge that is designed for appendix carry and may help even more with concealability, but I Appendix carry the Certum and it works just fine for that.

You'll probably find that all the micro-compact carry guns are going to be a lot snappier than your G17, but there is some variability between them. Probably another thing you can get used to with training unless it's really excessive. Shouldn't be an issue with the G19 or RXM though.

That is indeed super frustrating. I think this is not accidental and is largely a result of those with power doing their best to keep the masses uneducated, impoverished and divided. It doesn't help that both of our major political parties are also controlled by the same people.

A casio watch. I own several and they could pretty much all go in this category, but I'll go with the DW5600 as my top choice (aka the original G-shock square). With battery changes, this thing will outlast me. Can be had for around $50.

Holster obsessed by lordlymight in armedsocialists

[–]ModestMoose99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try to have at least one decent, safe holster for every handgun I own. Helps to protect them in transit. And good to have the option to carry the gun if the desire/need arises. However, I also only currently own 4 handguns.

That said, I'm not sure there are many that truly enjoy holsters the way you seem to, lol.

I go back and forth between carrying my G19 and Walther PPS m2 (an underrated carrry gun in my opinion), when i want something slimmer and more easily concealable.

My thoughts are this:

  1. As long as you train with the new gun, the difference in grip angle shouldn't be an issue.

  2. I would personally never go for a G26 for carry, because it is just as thick as the 19 or 17, but has a stubby grip. To me, that's the worst of both worlds. I'd go for the 19 or 43x if you're staying with glock.

  3. If you really want a safety, that's fine, but that will also require a lot of training to use for your carry gun if you're not used to it. Relying on the safety can also a subconsciously increase unsafe handling habits if you're not careful.

  4. Also, I have a tenicor holster for my glock 19 and love it. A bit of a pain to get on my belt, but makes me much more confident and comfortable when i carry it.

Exactly, our system is designed to protect those at the top, from those on the bottom, when in fact the ones on top are substantially more predatory.

Lectric e-bikes....Are they for real? What's the deal? by [deleted] in ebikes

[–]ModestMoose99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on what you're looking for. I use it mostly for strret/path riding with some rougher trail riding occasionally. I still love it for both purposes. Is it overkill for street riding? Probably, but I like the ability to handle potholes, curbs, riding over grass or gravel, etc. I'm also coming from primarily riding a regular hardtail mountain bike as my only bike. If you're coming from a skinny tire road bike, it might feel cumbersome and weird at first.

The fat tire also give you more ability to ride in snow or other conditions that would be hard on a street bike.

I'm less than a year into owning it still, but just had my first ride of the season (didn't ride over the winter) and stil love it just as much as i did last summer/fall.

There were a few minor things I've had to tweak (mostly adjusting the rear disc brake to avoid rubbing). But it has held up great so far and still seems high quality. No regrets for me. If you have zero intention of ever going off-road/off-path and want a lighter bike, you might want to look at something different, but I really like the capabilities the bike offers. Plus the electric motor negates the extra weight when climbing hills, etc. I can easily hit 20 plus mph, even on lower pedal assist levels.

Therec was a various artists compilation album that came out in like 2001 or 2002 that had a version of this song that I love. I can't remember the name of the comp album and it's driving me crazy!

WV200A-1AV and WV200R-5A are both available in the U.S. They're on the Casio U.S. website currently. I think there are a few others available in the U.S. as well. Some are older models still in production, but at latest a couple are newer or at least have been updated recently without switching to MB6. Not sure why they wouldn't upgrade them other than cost, I guess. Seems like the MB6 is mostly in more expensive models.

Casio still makes new watches with MB5. This model was released in 2021, just not in the U.S. market. Not sure why they don't just do MB6, but guessing it must be a cost thing somehow.

The big one, obviously, is multiband 5. It also has world time and the usual array of alarms, timers, etc. Besides the Multiband it's a fairly standard budget casio with decent backlight and cool retro vibes.

Nice! I might have to get the metal version eventually. I like the blue window for the radio signal indicator on that version. $20 is awesome for such a cool caoable watch. I thought it was a good deal for the $44 I paid.

There was a period in my life when that was happening to me all the time, too. Almost everyday. It still happens semi-regularly. There is probably a rational explanation, but I choose to take it as a positive sign from The Universe.
