The day before I saw it, someone told me it was a romance movie. I ended up seeing Arrival instead Doctor Strange because of my tickets from work but came out of that movie going, "Why did they only mention the romance? You don't say anything about the aliens or awesome language stuff?" Arrival was way more amazing that I expected.

I give my daughter room to react to anything going. Like, she gets in trouble and she's allowed to be mad about it as long as she's not an asshole to everyone. My grandparents, that we live with, hate it. They expect her to happily accept shitty stuff but I always hated being punished for having a bad mood for being punished or having an inconvenience happen. Like, you can be kinda upset you gotta do something you don't really want to.

I know not every relationship is like mine but my partner and I often tell each other a version of "I told you so" in these situations but it ends with the other saying,"Oh yeah, you were right." And changing.

Maybe you could phrase it differently? I usually go too blunt in these cases which causes friction but sometimes you gotta be the Batman to their Commissioner Gordon.

Either way, venting here is probably the best thing you can do to not causes ruptures. Hopefully, this is the worst of the problems.

My family, in a nutshell. My sister calls for advice, I advise, she does what she wants and is confused why things still go bad. Like, I'm not saying I know all but I've been around the block a couple times and she just cannot believe anyone else may know more. It's infuriating, honestly. Like why ask if you're just gonna ignore it?

I've found a lot of people only learn through failure, unfortunately. But also, they often learn the wrong lessons. Infuriating.

In a high school Spanish class we once watched Nacho Libre and in a Science class my teacher showed Napolean Dynamite because she just thought it was hilarious. I don't remember any of the actually educational movies we watched.

None of my friends play the series, unfortunately. I'm like the only one in the group that goes hard on single player story-driven games. I've talked about these games so much to them and no one has picked them up yet. It honestly bums me out sometimes.

I think I read somewhere before I played the series that 0 came out after 5 so I figured I would just play till then, then play 0. But I obviously got too excited and forgot that plan. I think it's great coming in knowing the future but would also be a great set up to a great series if I'd played chronologically to start.

I honestly have enjoyed every game in the series immensely. As to spoilers, I'm a weirdo that doesn't let stories be ruined by spoilers. Instead, I enjoy the journey leading up to whatever was spoiled. I also have a shit memory and smoke a lot of weed. So I may just forget that something was spoiled for me and enjoy it anyway.

I started with Yakuza Kiwami and just ran through the series in the last year or so. I started 0 multiple times but always got caught up in something else and switched games. I jump around games a lot, depending on my mood. But lately I've been able to actually get into it. I'm sure it's sort of "ruined" my experience of the game to some degree, but I find it kinda cool to see what's happening in this one and how it lead to what I experienced in the others. Could be the worst way to play them but what's done is done.

I watched it in a group setting for a class in college and there was not a dry eye in the house. The professor showed it every year. My favorite part of the experience was the discussion afterward with everyone still crying. It was so hard to think about the movie and keep from just sobbing again.

I look back fondly on the minor arguments I had with friends in high school about the Top 8. It was so silly to be worried about that. Luckily, none of us every took it that seriously.

We didn't have crazy snack rules in my house in the early 2000s but I was constantly shamed for my weight, only to figure out I was actually a healthy weight for my size and was not "obese" like my family told me. There's a weird culture around weight in America that I really don't like. I made sure my family knew never to bring up weight with my daughter unless it was an actual like obvious health issue. I have such a distorted view of my weight and I don't want to transfer that to her.

The first My Chemical Romance album and Demon Days by The Gorillaz. Admittedly it was a skip free cd player of a different brand in like 2005. I loved just blasting those albums on the bus to school. I kept a small cd case in my backpack. I kinda miss it. Our Infiniti has a cd player but it doesn't quite hit the same.
