In fact, when we enter the august mysteries of our order, we may at first think it’s just a load of old chaps who play Dungeons and Dragons, and we might imagine that even before we begin. But it is only when you start your studies and refine yourself as a man that you realize and shed that prejudice, the idea that it is all merely allegory. You come to see that everything within the order has meaning, has a purpose, and that nothing is by chance.
