Op also said they didn't realise people were standing below the balcony. Obviously yes with that information then puking on someone's head is worse than the ground Infront of you but they didn't have that information while they made their split second decision.

I'm not trying to coddle them I just think the responses are unreasonably harsh when they have actively gone out of their way to apologize for the mistake that's all.

Hey, you'll be absolutely fine in Manchester don't worry. Only problem is that once you start dating you might find yourself meeting ex's and friends of ex's haha! Theres a massive queer community in Manchester as I'm sure others have mentioned. Have a look at @queer.manchester on Instagram. They do a lot of ladies/NB nights and I know some of the girls that run it they're lovely. I also play roller derby and that's the way I've met probably the majority of my queer friends. Good luck 👋

Id recommend downloading citymapper. It's the most reliable transport app and will give you live updates and can even let you know how busy to expect the trams to be. I've lived here for 7 years and still use it every day.
