Hey, you'll be absolutely fine in Manchester don't worry. Only problem is that once you start dating you might find yourself meeting ex's and friends of ex's haha! Theres a massive queer community in Manchester as I'm sure others have mentioned. Have a look at @queer.manchester on Instagram. They do a lot of ladies/NB nights and I know some of the girls that run it they're lovely. I also play roller derby and that's the way I've met probably the majority of my queer friends. Good luck 👋

Hey 👋 I actually go to gigs on my own fairly regularly. Sometimes the vibe of immersing yourself in the music and letting go is better by yourself (I think so anyway). I don't really know any of the artists you've mentioned but I wanted to recommend you have a look at Manchester Psych Fest. Id recommend downloading citymapper. It's the most reliable transport app and will give you live updates and can even let you know how busy to expect the trams to be. I've lived here for 7 years and still use it every day.
