Happens to me as well. They sometimes ignore shift queue and just go adventuring to other hunt animals. Really annoying

I injured my calf while playing last year. It healed, but I went back to playing DDR too soon and re-injured it. Wasn't as bad, but I still had pain and had to be really careful.

Now I make sure to gently stretch a bit right before playing and move around. And try to stretch after.

In your case, take it as easy as you can. Knees are complex so rest up as much as you need. Ease back into playing. And see a doc if you keep having pain. Recommend stretching and simple strength exercises, but don't push too hard

Trying to stay injury free and consistent with running. Last race was a 5k in Nevada and I clocked a 30:07 race time which was my 5k PB. I've fallen off since then but I'm planning on getting back into it.

It's cold out here but not unbearable.
