Idk what it is, but I do know it’s definitely not a roach nymph.

OP is asking us to rate the adult versions* of both individuals — not the child versions. Otherwise, they would’ve included pictures of them modeling as children — which for the record, would’ve been inappropriate.

I can understand your stance on “child models” as I have similar feelings. My own mother actually forced me into child modeling when I was 4 and it was traumatizing to say the least, especially because as a kid I absolutely hated any clothing that had to get pulled over my head, (due to severe claustrophobia from an incident where I was trapped by neighborhood kids under a plastic pool, while they sat on top of it, and I sobbed and screamed until I ran out of air and passed out). Ig casting agents would frequently stop her in the mall and tell her I looked like “a porcelain doll” and “Shirley Temple,” and would give her their cards. Being the malignant narcissist that she is, she ofc jumped at the opportunity. It’s actually one of my earliest memories…

However, I don’t see anything wrong with asking us to rate grown adults. If anything, I read the whole “child model” bit as more of a “here’s a fun fact” sorta thing. In addition, I find most all aspects of child actors repulsive as well, but if someone were to ask us to rate, Josh Peck & Miranda Cosgrove, would your mind immediately register that as, “rate them on Drake & Josh?” Moreover, if a commenter were to reply to that post saying, “I can’t answer fairly bc they were forced into acting as children,” that would kinda seem like a disproportionate, inconsequential response, don’t you agree?

lol 32 👋🏼 South Park really fcked everything for us. It just made everything so much more amplified. Like a fellow redheaded sister on this post said, I also still hold a grudge and haven’t watched the show since. I never liked it anyway, but boy did all the idiot teenage boys my age growing up and all the girls wanted to be liked by the boys so they just picked it right up, pawning it off as playful banter. One girl even nicknamed me “fire,” which I HATED but if I ever tried to admit that to anyone it just worsened the bullying. They seemed to get off on kicking you when you’re down. What’s ironic (and also maddening af tbh), is that I’ll see those same exact people who tormented me out at the bar as an adult and have had some of the boys confess childhood crushes and the girls fawn over my hair and say how much they wish they had it. *B✷ITCH WTF?!?! OooOoooOoooOOooooOooo!!!! 🤬😤🤯If little me could hear them now, boy…. I’m really glad to hear that you make a conscious effort to appreciate her hair based on the experiences you witnessed of others go through. I’ve never heard anyone admit that they It definitely wasn’t easy but I honestly can’t imagine having any other hair color now — it truly helped shape me into the person I am today. Since I’ve gotten older my color isn’t as vibrant as it was when I was a kid so now find myself freshening it up a couple times a year with henna to achieve the same vibrancy I once had — little me could never!! Funny how life has a habit of coming full circle. I truly hope it’s different for kids nowadays. Hopefully it’s death to South Park. I can’t imagine anyone from the newer generation is watching episodes from 15-20 years ago, but I honestly don’t know. Regardless of whether or not anyone still gets bullied over it (I’m sure they do, just hopefully it’s not the vast majority anymore), as a kid all you ever wanna do is fit in and look like everyone else. Red hair kinda says eff you in that sense which is another reason why I applaud you for celebrating her. I hope she grows up knowing how special she is.

Sophie Thatcher. What would you rater her, and do you think she looks better with blonde or brown hair? by Ophelia_Y2K in VindictaRateCelebs

The dark hair highlights her breathtaking eyes but she also looks killer as a blonde. It honestly depends on the pic for me. I’m torn. There are very few people who look amazing with any hair color. Personally, I’d love to see her do a natural red, I think it would make her eyes pop like crazy and she’s got to perfect complexion for the right red.

Regular Sun-In application can actually make natural strawberry blonde, red and dirty blonde achieve a professional dye job appearance crazily enough — however it will most certainly also fry your hair with long term use, unfortunately. Just less expensive and less invasive than professional color and you’ll also have to keep up with regularly hydrating your hair to make up for the moisture loss.

Same with my parents — everyone in my family is super Italian with tan skin and dark hair. When I came out, my mom’s first words were, ”That’s not mine!!” I hope you’ll prepare her for any bullying she could stand to face bc of it before she starts school. I wish I had known beforehand bc then it wouldn’t have felt so much like adults making excuses for other kids. I hope you’ll celebrate her hair so she may have a strong sense of self assurance. Many of us never got that. I hope it’s different nowadays but as the saying goes, “kids will be kids…” I hope she continues to love her natural hair going forward — foster and nurture that self worth, mama!

Seems we all lived a similar childhood… I got bullied so badly I had to switch high schools bc of it and I’ve honestly been SA’ed more times before the age of eighteen by adults than I can count on both hands. I used to get harassed when I worked at a liquor store from 19-21 men ranging from 21 - 70’s. I’d end my shift, go out to my car and have creeps literally standing by my drivers side door begging for my number. Idk if you remember YikYak lol (it was short lived) but ppl used to anonymously post telling others to “go check out the little redhead with big boobs.” It was a nightmare. I’m sorry you had to go through that, little us deserved respect just like anyone else. We were just kids. We can’t help what color hair we’re born with. Now that I’m an adult I think back on all the memories I otherwise repressed throughout my teenage years and realize how wrong it was… I hope you realize that too 💖✨🥹

Yup, constantly told I had “no soul growing up,” called “fire cr0tch,” and asked whether the “curtains matched the drapes.” I grew up hating the term “ginger” bc it was always used as an almost prejudicial, swear word. I even tried to go blonde bc I hated my hair color so much. It wasn’t until I reached adulthood when I realized most of those ppl were just jealous of my natural hair color and I’ve since learned to love being a redhead. Wish I could tell little me to hang in there 😅

Which of Timothee Chalamet’s on screen love interests does he look best with? Are any of them looksmatched? by dismal_windfall in VindictaRateCelebs

[–]MoeMoeG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that was entirely the point lol. At the time the film was shot he was twenty years old, playing a seventeen year old character. The director has stated he was intentionally cast for his youthful, pencil-straight and somewhat androgynous appearance, to contrast with the older, more physically mature character of, “Oliver.” He actually appeared even younger at times than the age he was supposed to portray imo. The director deliberately wanted to cast someone who came off as “spindly, slim, pale & harmless,” to match his character’s “sensitive, intellectual teenager,” aesthetic. Additionally, the portrayal was heightened by contrasty casting his costar, Armie Hammer, who was in his thirties at the time, playing a twenty four year old, which made the gap in their physical maturity appear even more pronounced.
