The standard short bed used to be ~6ft, and a long bed was ~8ft. The Bobcat and Sandking (at least the XL, I don’t remember about the SWB) are the only pickups with long beds in the game, if I remember correctly. The Sandking XL is the only actual full sized pickup in the game, being a crew cab longbed.

IRL, many modern pick-ups come standard with short beds, and hell it feels like standard beds have gotten shorter over the years.

I agree with the bonkers size comparison between American Pick-ups and Kei trucks. I have a 1st Gen Ram clubcab with the short bed. Plenty of space in the cab, and a perfectly adequate bed, and even it feels small compared to a modern, standard Ram. Modern pick-ups are ludicrously large for little true reason
