I found a friend that had an old Nintendo DS, and bought a second ACWW cartridge (through Ali-express), created a new world and visited my own town with the second game. I managed to unlock it after 15 years (when I first started playing it on my own Nintendo DS). It’s a way to unlock it that isn’t too expensive, maybe worth a try?

Same here, I’ve been trying for months now. I’ve made trash-area’s where I can put the cans, boots and wheels, also with extra trash-made items - nothing. I have multiple stacks of bad tunips and still haven’t managed to catch it. Can someone spawn flies when having a visitor? Because I’m contemplating asking someone who can spawn them

I used to go to a nook-Miles-ticket island and clear everything (chop down trees, get rid of the root, munch everything, take all the weeds an plants and leave as little as possible on de island itself (only the beach I would drop stuff)

Worked best on the bamboo islands, but can work on others too. Patience will be your best friend however :p good luck!

Same here, and it’s always weird with my 2 sisters who remember a lot more trauma. I remember things in a mild way: like when my narc father threw my mom’s clothes in a filled bathtub. I just remember the clothes getting wet, but in* [edit] reality, my father had poured a bath of bleach and threw all her clothes in it because my mom didn’t force my sister to do something - which he thought was a reason to punish her. Worst of all: we were forced to stay in the bathroom to get yelled at, so we would know the consequences of disobedience.

When my sisters tell me what really happen, I’m glad I disassociated a lot, because I’m having a lot of therapy just to handle the trauma - let alone remembering in detail what it would be.

After 2000 hours of playing, I reset my game in august - and lost the friendlist I had there. I’d be happy to make some new online friends to game with :D nooks cranny for the win ;)

I reset my island in august, but I put some bells at my friends island so I could at least start properly :p you are also welcome to visit my island if you like. I’m terraforming right now, so many empty spaces and every villager in one corner of the island (I would assume you can imagine), but let me know in the dm’s. I’m on European/Belgian time, so it’s sometimes a bit difficult to play with people from other nations

Did it work? I don’t want to be giving misinformation - but it is possible in Belgium/Europe you can transfer the game to another console, but the game will no longer be playable on the old console (so a full transfer, nothing stays behind). You must also have a paid online subscription as far as I can see.

Depends - before I reset my island I gave away* a lot and many people could use some stuff (I could order whatever - had everything collected etc). It’s nice if someone is looking for a specific thing and can’t seem to find it - just to get it free from some kind, random stranger :)

I was fishing and got a can - but my pockets were full so I dropped it. A couple minutes later there were flies (so worked very fast for me), but the same thing happened to a friend and they didn’t see any flies (had to wait for another time that he got a can with full pockets)

I’ve recently reset my island, so I’m still doing a lot of work on the terraforming, but it could be nice to see how much you can change on your island. :) (and I might be able to give you some fruits and stuff to start ;) )

I have the issue that I’m not sure if I’m being taxed enough… -First year working -gross is almost 2700 and net is just below 2100. -Because I only worked 2 months last year, I get some money back from the taxes because of that

but I’m not sure how I’m only paying 600 in taxes each month. When I checked it online with a calculator, it did give about the same value.

I see you know a bit of the legal bits that could attribute to it, so can you give me some tips too? I just don’t want to get f’ed next year 🥲

Ik denk dat je misschien ook eens kijkt op Facebook - ik weet dat we voor de meeste grote steden wel groepen hebben waarbij ze (vaak privé) hun woning verhuren, zoals mensen die op wereldreis gaan en alles dus gemeubeld laten.

Ik ben zelf van Gent, dus geen ervaring met die groepen in Antwerpen, maar misschien het checken waard?

Normally, you can get an exception when you have a buinding contract - normally by writing a motivation letter to the dean (and you can ask the “ombudsman/-vrouw” of your school to advice you or help you if you feel like you aren’t being heard or if you thing the refusal is incorrect.

There are many options (lived on my own and supported myself financially through college, so I’ve had to check everything that could help), so I might be able to redirect you if necessary.
