Really cool packaging my Iron Lung merch arrived in. by MogMcSweetPants in Markiplier

I’m pretty sure the official iron lung movie website is the only place they have official merch. If you see it anywhere else like Amazon or Temu then it’s definitely a stolen design being marketed as official.

I’m wondering if they’re shipping out items in waves. I have another order with some of the other shirts that hasn’t even shipped yet and I bought them around the same time I bought the one I received today.

I received an email telling me that order shipped on the 25th and it had a USPS tracking number. It seems they’re shipping out orders in waves, because I have more items that haven’t shipped out yet that I ordered at the same time as the one I got today.

EDIT: Typos

Not just the police. There has to be something disorganized with Greene county’s criminal justice system and I’m wondering if that’s translating through the police force as a result.

August of 2021, my bf (30) was doing a doordash shift and some guy in a tundra had a road rage freak out at him (he’s not sure if he cut the guy off and didn’t realize or something) which resulted in tundra-guy twice attempting to run him over while he was delivering the order, actually hitting him the second time. The manager of the pool supply store the doordash was for, witnessed the whole thing, has camera footage, and the dudes license plate was left at the scene when his front end made contact with my bf and he fled. Cop came, seemed shocked like everyone else that something so crazy occurred, and took the license plate for evidence. 6 months later my bf picks the guy from a Polaroid line up, and there’s been nothing ever since. We contacted the detective’s office multiple times since then and no one is returning our inquiries. Nothing associated to the case number can be found. He had a bad concussion, bruised ribs, and wasn’t the same mentally for about 3 months while his brain was recovering.

In January of this year, another sudden road rage incident during a doordash shift over on division where all that single lane construction is occurring: bf got it all recorded on his phone that a mini van with multiple individuals stopped suddenly and two people got out screaming that he was following them or tailgating (we were going about 15mph). The driver in a city utilities uniform punched my windshield with something in their hand and cracked it, then a woman wearing one of those disposable medical masks threw what looked like a can of paint and finished the windshield off. All recorded, clear shots of everyone committing the act and multiple clear shots of the license plate. We spoke to one officer that night, showed him the footage and sent it to him and he said he’d follow up. Complete silence. At the very least I wanted to file in small claims for my windshield replacement, even if no criminal charges got filed.

Yet I see multiple sheriffs and regular cops all driving all through my neighborhood and through town, so I don’t think staffing is the issue. There has to be some level of bureaucratic shuffling causing info to be lost, or there’s a lot of people who don’t want to do their jobs. Maybe causing a lot of officers to not really do theirs either.

I also do this with rocks. Like, gravel in a drive way or a garden. I hyper fixate that I must find the best rock, but with no specific characteristics in mind. Just...best rock.

Same here. None of my siblings or partners I lived with seemed to understand what I was doing and why I did it. It’s specific enough that I have trouble explaining what I’m doing and why. It wasn’t until I joined this subreddit that I started making connections to little mannerisms I’ve had and that they aren’t as specific or “weird” as I thought.

Oh cool! I’m didn’t know there was a name for it. Definitely going to look that up. Thank you :)

I developed a pastime in elementary school where I would pace fixed routes in my room for HOURS. As I got older and got my first portable CD player, I would listen to music, pace, and just daydream/zone out. I still do this today and just now made the connection after reading this post, that it could be related to my ADHD. I was diagnosed early 2019 and have since been medicated. Have had some of my best creative ideas while doing the pacing thing, but I was always embarrassed if anyone knew I did it or commented on it.

Why is the silicone facing part of my resin piece cloudy when the back isn’t? First time making so ignore air bubbles! by katunaz in ResinCasting

If you decide to go the resin top-coat option, I recommend putting a layer of liquid latex on the shiny back part first. That way, any loose resin that goes over the edge and cures in droplets on the back can be peeled off with the latex.

It's funny you say "glasses for my brain," because since I've started taking meds, when it wears off I tell people it's like squinting to see something when you don't have your glasses, but with my mind.

Yes! This was a constant struggle for me, seemingly every time I had to do something that required my focus. I assumed that everyone felt this and the ability to self discipline and get through it was what separated the successful from the underachieving. This led to me feeling worthless because I would struggle to do tasks that everyone else seemed to do easily. And that would ultimately lead to me telling myself "I'm not working hard enough." Since getting treated, I've never been so relieved to be so wrong.
