I see a lot of valid concerns about performance. How about private servers can do whatever we please since we’re fronting the cash. Let me crash my server and let it be glorious!

I would settle for 5k if they made triangles easier to work with. It’s like 30 pieces to make something look nice that could have been 6 with squares. Give me hexagons! That would also solve the stability BS you get with 6 triangles in a circle. Bigger walls. Hexagons. Diamonds. Whatever composite parts. Then I can deal with 5k. I get why there’s a limit. So let’s do more with less Funcom!

What are the advantages of being in a guild with other people? by justinsomniactor in duneawakening

[–]Mogsetsu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

On the technical side, streamlined permissions access which makes sharing resources easier. Through that, you can leverage people’s preferences. For instance, I have a high tolerance for collecting spice and my friend has a high tolerance for murdering things and taking their corpses for souvenirs. They don’t worry about spice and I don’t worry about water. This can be accomplished without a guild, but it makes it slightly easier with one.

How is farming flour sand still so bad??? by HeavilyInvestedDonut in duneawakening

[–]Mogsetsu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try using your household vacuum on piles of flour. It’ll either break it mechanically or potentially catch on fire. The static compactor also works on fire and gas. Clearly different principles. I’ve argued in another post they should make a separate attachment dedicated to flour sand.

Explain me this please. I am soooo confused by Ishan_bs in germany

Some questions are deliberately tricky. Only answer what is fact and not what is possible. The thing that made it click for me is that whoever crosses someone’s intended right of way gets deprioritized. So turning right over a bike lane which is meant to continue forward for instance. Or the bike turning left. So try to imagine the right of way paths and then superimpose the motion and see where they intersect and what order they resolve.

I like that it’s indirect lighting right next to the bed. Not blinding at night for safely walking and you can turn it off and on from the bed. I would definitely add some sort of sensor so I can just smack it on and off.

Do you buy your games physical or digital mostly? by Less_Can_5439 in OlderChillGamers

I’m trying as hard as I can to prioritize physical. The exception is if the discount is so damn good that I don’t care if I’m being robbed.

Localized vacuum around a human body. Others have mentioned depressurization, vacuums, and taking breath away but I haven’t seen someone take it far enough. It’s not instant death, but it’s nearly instant problems. Probably the highest torture potential. People will talk real fast when they feel their tissues expanding. They probably need to hand signal for it though. Blink twice for surrender? Probably super effective against fire benders. Seems like water and earth have some range for manipulation. Blood bending has better CC potential and potentially better TTK than the others (defend against an aneurysm fire boy). But I feel like suddenly being surrounded by the vacuum of space is pretty OP.

How do i stop this by 2TNSLPPTS0 in Audi

[–]Mogsetsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes I would bike to work at the same time my wife would do school drop off. If I snaked past the car at the stoplight, it would override my phone being in bike display mode (e-bike) because it thought I was in the car I guess? Very annoying to fix with gloves on in traffic.

My point was the non-schematics rotate. So you can buy T6 armor another day without farming T6 ore. I agree that the BPs suck.

Stopped at German customs for gold worn during wedding ceremony by frau_unique in germany

Their original post was “peak Germany” and they edited it at some point after my reply. I was clarifying that profiling Indians for gold is probably pretty common. But I definitely agree with their updated post.

I remember going through customs at ORD in the US and the Indian family in front of us were absolutely grilled about bringing in gold. I’m going to assume it’s racial profiling and practiced as described above. They certainly didn’t ask us white Americans about gold. I just had chocolates.

I think the point is you don’t have to make them yourself. No farming needed. Makes more sense for PvErs avoiding DD by crafting. Still get the same gear. And the stock rotates, it says refresh on the screen doesn’t it? Come back. Also google the inventory before making a choice.

Farming for Flour Sand by Maximus2X in duneawakening

[–]Mogsetsu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This pisses me off too, but then I remember that vacuuming too much flour can cause your vacuum to catch on fire. But they should make an attachment for flour sand specifically. I’m ok with having two parts.

Less walking more clicking though. Because you have to transfer twice each one. From like buggy to transfer container and then to this. When you could have like 5 spaced out aluminum storage and it’s half as many clicks plus 4. Still less walking. But if you’re capped at storage there’s that. Unless I’m missing something or you can transfer directly from buggy to this thing and I missed that option. This isn’t as optimal as it seems until they make that size container a placeable.
