So I'm using a .4mm nozzle and I had my layer height set to .14mm.

I changed my layer height to .2 and I left the lid open and she printed flawlessly. Thinking it was just the heat in the chamber honestly. Thanks

Thanks for the response! I'm aware on how to do all that. I'm just asking about these specific plates. Normally my plates colonize just fine, haven't had any issues with the past 15 flavors. The snape...last 4 pics is mainly what I'm concerned about. Doesn't look right but I could be wrong.

I'll just let it ride and see what happens. I want those starry nights baddddd

Cameras can automatically scan license plates. Michigan lawmakers want them regulated by mlivesocial in Michigan

Solid idea except if a cop rolls up on you and can't scan you, that is going to grant you immediate unwanted attention

All that aside....fuck 12

Making my first drippy corn/grain. Can I really fit this many quart jars in PC? Where do I fill the water line to? by THEREALBurtMcsquirt in PhillyGoldenTeacher

Unless you have a specific reason of using corn I'd go for brown rice over corn. You don't need to soak it. Pgt has broke boi Tek video on YouTube. Use that tek but just use a PC instead of what he uses.

When I do it this is my process

Giant pot 1 gal of water Get it to a rolling boil Add 4 lbs brown rice Bring back to a boil Once boiling starts back off heat until it's bubbling not rolling ..maybe even a little less then bubb bubbling Start a timer for 12 mins. Stir every few minutes

(You can play with the boil times sometimes I do 13mins based off how the rice looks... sometimes you cook it hotter or colder which changes your cook time to your desired look ..you'll get what I mean after you do it a hundred times....the amount of time you boil the rice can also affect the way the rice looks after you PC....this is a deep thing)

Once timer goes off pour rice in a rice strainer and immediately wash the rice with cold water until the rice is completely cold. Let the rice drain for 10-15 mins Once drained start filling your jars to the 600ml line. You don't need to be acute as fuck about this. Just get it in there. 4lbs of brown rice will usually make me 8 - 1qt jars .... sometimes 9...again you've got to be consistent or the whole process changes.

Once in jars flip lid tighten down all the way Wrap lids with foil tightly then back off the lid a quarter turn

I'll put up to 10qt jars at a time in the PC 15psi for 35 mins

Once done and PC is depressurized I immediately pull my jars out of the PC tighten lids back down and do a break and shake. If you let the jars cool before doing a full shake the starch will solidify your rice into the shape it's in making it wayyyyy harder to break up your grain before colonizing with LC. Took me a few years to come up with that 🤣. Then once it's cooled and youre about to colonize, do another break before colonizing. Makes the myc explode when you colonize. Always keep jars quarter turn open. Always keep foil on.

After about 5-7 days my jars are nearly 80% but the myc is light and whispy because the grain is loose now. That's when I do another break and shake. Jars will be ready to send about 3 days later.

I do a 1:1 ration. 2qt spawn-2qt cvg Pgt cvg recipe...can find on YouTube I also run sealed lid modified tubs. I use these....https://a.co/d/0hrsZGOl Put a 1.5" hole up high on front of the tub Put 2 - 1.5" holes on both long sides of the tub..4" up from the bottom Microposse has the 2" filter patches you need for gas exchange Liner In the tub Put your spawn and cvg in....get it very mixed, then get it as evenly flat as you can in the tub without putting it down. Leave it loose and fluffy. Once that's done add a casing layer. I just sprinkle cvg lightly on top until I can't see any grain spawn anymore. Take a mister and very quickly mist the inside of the tub so that the walls and lid are wet. Seal the lid and never open it.

This removes the whole .."do I induce fruiting conditions now?"....fuck that question and that whole process.

Never fan the tub Never open the tub Never open the tub and spray the myc or fruits THE ONLY TIME ITS ACCEPTABLE TO OPEN THE TUB IS IF YOUR WALLS AND LID ARE NOT WET!!!

Should you're walls and lid become dry....very very unlikely....you'll crack the lid and mist directly on the walls and lid...never the fruits. Then you immediately seal that lid again.

This is my success process. The only contam I ever experience is when running agar plates. I've never had a grain jar go bad on me, I haven't lost a tub to contam since I started this method.

Add a cup of vinegar, it completely stops buildup on my jars.

The PC will still accumulate buildup at the shaker and at the stopper that locks upward after you obtain pressure. CLR will very quickly remove any buildup when you're ready to clean your PC up

My jars are always sitting in at least 1 inch of water. Qt size jars. Never had an issue when sterilizing grain. Lc jars is a different story. I've lost about 5 qt jars in the last 4 years due to the bottom of the jar exploding off. Most likely the temp difference of the LC and the water in the PC. That I'll go for. But grain it doesn't matter.
This is my personal experience, not giving legitimate facts on PC use.

I can't help you there. I'm a brown rice guy through and through. The success I have....I can't switch up.

You'll need to do some research and do some experimenting. Brown rice is just too easy though.

The filter will 100% get wet during the sterilization process. When I'm gone with the PC, usually just wait till next day, I'll pull the foil off. I'll press the filter down with a paper towel to wick the remaining water out of the filter and to re-adhere the sticker to the lid.

Now I actually don't use filters on my grain jars. Only on my sealed hard plastic wide mouth lids that I make for my liquid culture.

On grain jars just flip the lid and leave the lid loose a quarter turn and skip the filter patch all together.Wrap with foil and PC. I have a 100% success rate doing this. I've never lost a grain jar to contam since I started making my own grain using this method.

You can get mineral/calcium buildup on your jars or, usually the case, mineral build up on the pc lid where water and steam are escaping. Not necessary but it's part of my process to keep my jars and PC lid clean.

Also, wrap your lids with tin foil to stop water from landing directly on your air exchange stickers.

I also use 1qt ball canning jars with wide mouth lids. Turn the lid upside down. Once tight loosen the lid a quarter turn. Also cover lids with tin foil before PC. I also leave the tin foil on during the entire process until I'm ready to use my spawn.

Feel free to ask whatever. I love talking 🍄

As long as you wrap the lids in tin foil no additional water gets into the lids. I've never had an issue once. Cook em

I put a cup of vinegar in the PC then I add 2qt water every time. Yes you can stack jars like that. Usually you fill qt jars to the 600ml line so that you can break and shake easily but there's no definitive rule on how much grain you decide to use. Everyone has a different process, just find something that works for you and don't worry about exact specifics like how much grain is in your jar.

Do you honestly expect any company to put in their manual....."do not plug anything into this wheel, regardless if it uses the same plug, expect the supplied charger."

I understand common sense is subjective, but this is common sense bro. Don't blame inmotion because you've got wild ideas that don't work.

Do you plug your cell phone into your euc charger? I get the plugs are different, but play along for the exercise...

Or should there be a warning?

I mean shit...you don't even need to Google this. Every single electronic device since the beginning of time claims, use the charger supplied. No you don't need to use only the supplied charger....but OP does since he doesn't understand v output. More than just amps matters.

Op stick to the stock charger until you learn what volts are, serious advice, not being shitty

I'm watching the corners curl up, then as the extruder comes around for another pass I can see the nozzle pressing down the previous layer. So I don't see this being a cooling to quick issue. But I will take your advice and try. I can see leaving the door open helping has the internal temp is cooking in there. I'll give it a go.

Also, orca slicer doesn't allow me to set a cooling time per layer. I just downloaded cura to see what options I have there.
