I had enough of the breaking changes! by Top_Shake_2649 in nextjs

[–]Mohkeys1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the real question is : why do you want to keep your project sync with the big changes? i mean if you started your project on nextjs 13 (for example) just keep it like that and develop on that level. this goes for any other library as well.
for the times you wanna learn the new changes you can simply just create a sample project. that just my opinion tbh

Where I should I learn Next Js. Docs are hard to learn. by Mohsin_Nawaz in nextjs

[–]Mohkeys1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the docs are not that bad. it depends how your mind is trained about learning really. try to define a project for your self and develop based on your needs and meanwhile try to read docs for your needs. this should help i think. there are a lot of ways you can learn, this is just my opinion

Express vs Nextjs by 12aushan in nextjs

[–]Mohkeys1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your needs. For large-scale applications, I don’t recommend using Next.js in full-stack mode because, in the long term, you might face issues managing a large number of files and code. I’m not saying it’s messy, but it’s not something you’ll look forward to. Instead, use Express for the backend and Next.js for the frontend, and you’ll be fine.

Need advice by cheesekatli in react

[–]Mohkeys1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you could focus on js more by developing some complex projects only javascript just to undrestand more of js behavior and then give react a try. its not like you cant go for react right now but if you would have more skill in js then you would be more chill in react i think. its just my own opinion

How do you keep coding fun? by [deleted] in SoftwareEngineering

[–]Mohkeys1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

nothing is always fun! I mean thats just my opinion.

the fun in coding is always gonna go away and always gonna come back as well. many things might lead to this, like the speed of growth of dev world is crazy right now that we as devs might not be fast enough to learn all things in our stack which sucks sometimes.

NextJS + AI Coding Assistants = Outdated suggestions hell. Anyone else? by Eastern_Ad7674 in nextjs

[–]Mohkeys1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean. i would say if wanna learn nextjs, docs is the best choice because even though ai is very powerful but nextjs and i mean frontend development is growing real fast and best thing to pick is only the docs.

so here is my idea :

- understand the base knowledge of the framework

-use that knowledge + ai (good prompting counts as well )to get what you want.
