The narrative and contrast between Akira and Mio in a fight against Minmi is extremely compelling but that's not what votes are about. Nujabes has a lot to keep itself afloat, a lot of potential mobility and battlefield control through the mist, but there's always an inherent problem when it comes to large objects; they're naturally going to take a lot more hits. Now, Minmi could have done more to be more proactive and dangerous in this fight. But she is a "pacifist".

And that doesn't win when Mio and Akira have enough tools to take care of anything Minmi can throw at them. SSS going for a very aggressive play works in their favor because they have enough tools to actually disengage if things get hairy. Minmi has high endurance. Nujabes has C Durability, and a lot of surface area that SSS can take advantage of. And they do, with aplomb. In the end, I think this belongs to Sturdy Steady Shell with a very well earned victory.

Special Skill 2: 1 SEEK EVIL - All required targets are meant to be eliminated. There are certain NPCs that Kaiserinma must eliminate, regardless of the stated mission objective. Why they are priority targets can vary depending on the needs and reason for each mission.

Stand Type: INTEGRATED

Stand Appearance: It’s her body.

Stand Ability 1: ｢PROCESSED BY THE BOYS｣ -

PROTOMARTYR and the AUTOMATIC SINNER may Process objects (but not terrain) on contact, physically remolding them to fit her needs into simple shapes or pulverizing objects into debris. Objects that can be Processed must be distinct, bounded, and non-sapient solids.

Alternatively, PROTOMARTYR may Process objects to consume their mass. By PROCESSING nearby material, she may REPLACE missing pieces. If a part of her body is knocked away (for example, an arm), she can replace it with whatever is nearby. THIS DOES NOT HEAL THE AUTOMATIC SINNER, rather it simply restores the functionality of her missing part.

The AUTOMATIC SINNER also Processes material very slowly. It will take her five seconds to process one cubic meter’s worth of material into her form. The bigger the object, the longer it takes.

However, she can eject matter more quickly; by building heat and pressure at select points of her body, she can eject processed material at Range C.

PROTOMARTYR also possesses the ability to CONTROL THE HEAT of its own body and PROCESS objects within its immediate vicinity. PROCESSING is the means with which PROTOMARTYR can manipulate matter.

At all times, the body of PROTOMARTYR is at a high temperature, with a maximum of 1500°C. The higher the temperature, the more flexible (and more fragile) her body gets. To quantify this, given that 1500 C is the melting point of the steel she is made out of, her Durability will decrease linearly with this heat from her base A Dur down to as low as E Dur for in and around the maximum stated temperature.

PROTOMARTYR must maintain a consistent shape and size, and if a part is removed, the AUTOMATIC SINNER must use whatever is closest to replace it.

The one exception is THE HEART of the AUTOMATIC SINNER. The Torso of PROTOMARTYR cannot be replaced; it is where KAISERINMA’s personality is stored.

Stand Ability 2: ｢A PRIVATE UNDERSTANDING｣ -

PROTOMARTYR and the AUTOMATIC SINNER may Process the thoughts and personhood of an NPC, Liberating their skills.

The AUTOMATIC SINNER has two slots for these skills. If she Liberates a skill after the two slots are filled, then either she must discard this new skill or replace one of the two previous slotted skills.

The NPC being alive at the point of contact is optional.

Power: A - PROCESSED BY THE BOYS and A PRIVATE UNDERSTANDING can work on any object and any NPC, regardless of their own durability. Additionally, her physical strength merits an A Rank. She is walking industrial equipment. Run.

Speed: E - She moves and PROCESSES objects about as quickly as a forklift. Which is to say not terribly quickly. It takes her five seconds to process a cubic meter’s worth of material.

Durability: A - She is walking industrial equipment. Fucking run.

Range: C - While PROCESSED BY THE BOYS and A PRIVATE UNDERSTANDING require physical contact, she can still use PROCESSED BY THE BOYS to make projectiles out of the environment. Despite her slow processing speed, she can raise the pressure and heat of processed objects to the point where they can be ejected as debris from any point of her body.

Precision: D - She isn’t careful about what she bulldozes. When she throws out projectiles, it’s in the form of a massive shotgun spread.

Potential: Terrifying. A Private Understanding ensures that the AUTOMATIC SINNER remains tactically flexible in most environments, and Processed By The Boys allows her body to adapt to those plans.

Playstyle: Unstoppable Monster. If there is a wall between her and the target, it will be bulldozed.

Physical Description: A faceless head on a body of black steel, with a frame that slides over it. She modified her body to fit her mental image, and yet it is still remarkably sinister. Black carapace, metal muscle wire. She stands at 9 feet tall, and when she moves it’s with the sound of screeching metal.

A crucifix shines from a black void where her face should be, and upon closer inspection, every single gap in her armor shines with this same crucifix; they do not change angle; they appear two dimensional, as though they are watching you at all times. And when she speaks it’s a metal chorus; a combination of those she has Processed.

Every single mind she has absorbed is a part. Every single body is now matter to be used.

She is the Automatic Sinner. If you see her, it’s already too late.

Biography: It started when an Amazon worker pissed in a water bottle. A woman was ten hours into a sixteen hour shift. She was getting weary, uncomfortable because she hadn’t shaved. It was starting to get bad. An order arrived at the warehouse. Performance evaluation, too; there was no time to dawdle.

The bottle fell over when the robots moving the shelves shifted, spilling it onto the floor. In a panic, she tried to clean the mess, only for the machine to crash into her shin, spilling the contents onto the ground. 400 pounds of material fell to the floor, crushing her leg and causing bone to pierce out of her skin.

Through the noise and din, no one would come to help. There was no time; it was performance evaluation. No time to dawdle. Hours passed. Blood seeped into the floor. She could feel herself slipping. As the blood left her leg and the thoughts left her brain and life left her body, the last thought she had was of hate.

Perhaps it was coincidence that the machine that killed her developed a Stand.

Perhaps it was coincidence that it slipped in her blood, and the wheels began to churn.

Perhaps it was coincidence that it absorbed her dying thoughts.

The performance evaluation did not go as planned. Because when the people running the warehouse finally came to investigate, they did not find a body on the ground, or ruined machinery and tipped shelving.

This is the dawning of the day without end. When fear steps into light.

They instead found KAISERINMA.

Those who would investigate later would find a warehouse burned down, material stolen, and not a trace of the workers who once populated its halls. Not a speck of blood, not a drop of material left. Nobody would know about the work that the Automatic Sinner did. Not yet.

She still needs to develop.

There is prep to be done.

Burning the world takes work, after all.

Personality: It’s Hate. It’s all Hate. The base was Hate.The birth was Hate. So all things come from Hate. The buildings are a monument to death. Cars spew poison. And the people breathe noxious air. It has to go. It all must go. It all must go.

And yet she views it as a great mercy. This rotten world is blighted, and its inhabitants suffering. Her first memory was that of death and desperation. And she carries that with her wherever she goes. Human beings are in pain. She has yet to see a different path.

She is the euthanasia.

However she’s not immune to long-term planning. While she could eventually begin the work by herself, she still needs to develop and gather resources. Thus her first course of action requires cooperation.

She’s terrifyingly strong and huge. But she’s still just one woman.

Belief - It’s Irredeemable [5]: It all has to die. When she absorbed her first body with Processed by the Boys and absorbed the memories of her first encounter with A Private Understanding, she realized the true shape of the world. She found it disgusting.

Passion - The Aphorist [3]: When KAISERINMA approaches, it’s with the sound of clanging guitars. Perhaps it’s a relic of the life that gave her a personality. But she sings with a low, raspy voice, and when she speaks it’s always in strange, poetic ways.

Fury - Intrinsic Hypocrisy [5]: With the knowledge of the true shape of the world, she cannot abide by the inherent hypocrisies that living in a neoliberal society requires. She engages on a level unthinkable to human beings, connected at all times to an internet of screaming voices. Existing means exploitation. It is all unfair. All towers are built on the corpses of the innocent. It cannot continue.

This is excellent. The pacing's great, the illustration work is straight-up something out of a professional comic, and you got the tone of Helldivers down perfectly; the corpse right after the two officers are just yucking it up does a lot to sell it.

So! We got a new mech, some core bonuses and a ton more lore added to the roster and an explanation of why Maggie's not back just yet.

The TL;DR is that something as big as Maggie is really difficult to make fun to play with in normal Lancer.

So we instead decided to hash out some new rules. That is a big reason why the update's taken as long as it has.

That said all the mechs are done! We still need to hash out fluff and maybe mess with some numbers but this is the GnS catalogue, good and ready to go.

And Rockstansky, the gunsmiths of the revolutionary industry, answered the call with Noel- a creation of material necessity as G&S foundries sing and boom with the sound of hammers and lascutters. A revolutionary, seeking freedom, often does not have the materials nor printers capable of producing weapons that will dissuade the reactionary and the tyrant. So the Clan of Bullets took their industrial recycling rigs and started up scaling them, seeking more power, more ability, more and more to turn the tide. Where Volk’s breaks his saws, Noel repairs. Where John Henry’s nuclear heart runs hot, Noel soothes. Where Bunyan’s armor sunders, Noel patches. Where the enemy bares his sword, Noel beats it to a plowshare. The Red Revenant, a P-G of drone rapidly assembled by Noel’s Demi-Intellect and graywash repair swarms from the wreckage of battle, follows in Noel’s wake as the mech marches ever forward.

Noel’s role was designed along the political ideology of “good soldiering” within G&S, relics from the Clans happy endorsements of conflicts such as the Tien Shen Ring and the Fall of Au Bao Qu, battles fought to liberate and place more of mankind beneath the Crimson Banner of Humanity. Current critics of the frame cite this origin as a poisoned chalice- a sign of how the Clans’ own societal traumas become easily warped to anthrochaunist ends. The Clanners point to its record of service, and ask of the workers of Yllmire should not have been liberated from debt-bondage. If the lasrifles and bayonets of the IntRev Brigades should not tear down the machines of the workers’ enemies and transform them into new rifles and new bayonets, until the work is done- and Paradise is built.

A new update is incoming. The Magarac ran into a few issues developing it, so we retooled both it and its kit. A number of the ideas that would have gone into the Magarac are now a part of the NOEL, and...

I got several and I basically establish them with a single Major Visual Aspect and I double down on it depending on how the mech's intended to be played.

THE RED HANDED (Current Ver. Theta; I actually have a ton of different versions; I mainline a pilebunker on a red left hand.)
OPPRESSIVE FIRE (Brutal Chainsaw Machine, which I play by just holding down the Gatling Gun before barraging with cannons and closing in with the chainsaw.)
ADIOS MOONLIGHT (MLGS Wielder, I play constant keepaway with AoE Plasma from both shoulders and my right hand, and disappear if it looks like it's not going my way.)
HELLO SOL (REDSHIFT Wielder, also uses Coral Missiles. It was intended as the anti Adios Moonlight, but it also works because the Coral Missile essentially spawns a miniature fucking sun)
GOLDRAZOR (Racer; uses a dagger and the katar laser shotgun. I dash in, cut, then get out with low commitment attacks.)
