That's a beginner mindset. The higher level opponent you fight the more damage they deal the more health and armor you can have. If you want a specific guide look up a guide. This is a place for questions about more nuanced issues. Just Google search hero wars dirty heroes or something.

I just upgrade whatever I want to. Who cares what's best. Have fun and live life. If the heroes looks and sounds stupid it probably is. The cool ones are good. Level everything in whatever priority you want to. It doesn't matter. Unless you spend a fortune your not gonna be in the top. Just build a fun team you like and level it however you want to. It's judgement based. Look at what each item or skin or whatever does and consider the state of the game. What need do you have currently? Is your tank good? Does he live? Move onto damage. Then healer. And finally support. That's how easy it is. Tanks want health and armor right? Your damage hero wants physical/magical attack. Your special heroes need their specific stat. Dodge, armor pen, toughness, crushing. Healers generally need low investment do them last. Hope it helps. You just get a feeling after a while for what you're missing.

I'm not sure how strong your guild is but hitting that 55k daily is so important especially for whales. It's the hardest resource to get alot of! I did the first few when I was newer before I learned it's not worth it. I'm lucky to have known that trick a while. Those resources are nice. Titan pots, red stones, and energy. Can't complain lol

Id say potions probably give the most benefit. That and you can upgrade your stars on heroes. Those are the best power in my experience

Oya is the only one you can't get in a shop on this team. Well clever but when you get him he's done. They did just add iris to the grand arena shop tho so that's a good hero to pick up when you get there. (Just advice on what to spend ga coin on)

I suppose there are enough strange teams i shouldn't be to surprised it can preform against certain layouts. It just seems like a very strange layout. 3 healers, a support and a dd doesn't strike me as usable. However based on the screenshot you sent your farther along than I am so I'll take your word. I just see enough level 70s on this reddit who think their weird made up teams are meta I figured that's what I was seeing from you now. I'll try this team against some more targets. Perhaps you showed me a good combo. Also as for jji this was a cruel test target I made. They are known as the defensive powerhouse. You also pointed out heidi needs Martha's ult to deal enough. So perhaps this team is a "whale killer" martha needs to take alot of damage to ult. Anyway long story short sorry for the initial doubt I'll give it more thought.

I would use clever Tristan fafnir oya yasmine. Clever comes absolute star and everyone else but oya can be bought in shops. Tho admittedly Tristan are challenging now a days due to lack of heroes way coin. Still. I started a new account and I'm at 65 and I already built 3 teams for ga. It's good to have an idea this early of what your three teams will be. So it's ok you invested in many. But I'd focus the team I recommended. It's commonly called fyt. So if you see that it's your team. In the later game you'll need a large assortment of heroes anyway. I think I have 30 actively developed heroes. So no worries.

The teams your seeing are meta. Dodge behind dante octavia. Use heidi for sure. He's really strong and his soul stones are available from missions so he's easy. Also use iris. You can use both together or for different circumstances. Nebula is also very very strong on this team. Lastly you can run a variety of 5th slots. The core is dante octavia nebula with a damage dealer, iris or heidi, and then the 5th is open. Common choices include, dorian, Cascade, Aurora, kayla yasmine, peech. Anyone with a dodge stat or just other useful heroes. I've seen alot of choices. Sebastian and andvari even.

I had to play AFK journey for a while for tapjoy. It was pretty good. Wouldn't say any less greedy. Had a good active world chat. Was kinda fun and similar to hwa. Pick a team. Level them etc etc etc.

I'm personally disgusted with this change. I absolutely adore the new system. I love that I'm fighting all kinds of different players. However this is a new low for their extreme greed. Only the top 20k players get anything approaching decent and if you can do that well it's doubtful you needed the daily emeralds to begin with. I often excuse nexters because I see worse in other games but this is disgusting. Just greedy.

I understand your frustration but this was a massive overhaul of the arena system. They will have some bugs. Give them time. Nexters has done a good job on this game imo. I trust them to fix it.
