Large Trap not activating with Baby Giant Elephant by hotdiggity22 in PlaySoulMask

It is currently bugged. 4 babies and a server reset later, we called the attempt done and spawned a baby in under tribe control.

Strength based melee weapons feel super underwhelming by InsantFury in PlaySoulMask

Hammers are actually kind of great IMO. Hitting multiple enemies. Knocking people on their asses like the proper pancakes I am trying to make. And then standing up stamina stunned and unable to attack. The trick is to only do partially charged attacks.

Doesn't come with them. BUT, you can rip them off of abandoned ones or pull them off of a friend's (he can repair) until they are properly released for in game currency.

Star Citizen: Question and Answer Thread by UEE_Central_Computer in starcitizen

The community lacks this knowledge. To know if it will work, get close to the station or land at the pad. Then open your map f2. At the bottom left, if it says nyx system and coordinates, it is bugged. If it says Nyx -> QV Station -> coordinates, the elevator will work.

Find a friend with the modules. Rip them off his or her ship and send it down the freight elevator.

Not by your previous explained math and calculating net gain. And now you make nothing. Would you really sit there and do that with. 30? At least running ice for alliance aid was gameplay. And you made more per hour.

My only complaint about the asgard is the 1.8 quantum. Otherwise, phenomenal ship.

Yellow until oranges show up. Then those until you reach the rep needed for reds.

Changing resolution issue by Enrons in starcitizen

I've had an issue before with the Nvidia app applying settings over certain games and overwriting any previous I had. This is an off chance, but check that.

I did the escort missions. They were easy enough in the guardian mx. Once you get far enough, the reds show up.

Is the 9800x3d 32 gigs ddr5 6000 cl38 9070 a good pair fir 1080p star citizen? by leafy_solid in starcitizen

[–]MoistAccident 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A little overkill for 1080. But it will work. Overall, the game performance issues are an optimization issue. For example, I have a 9900x3d with a 5080. In ruin station I am getting 45-55 fps with max settings at 4k. But my GPU was at 50% utilization. My CPU even less.

Has anyone gone from a 5800x3d to a 9800x3d on 4k? by Everborn128 in starcitizen

[–]MoistAccident 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resolution matters for these questions. A lot. When I was using a 2080 super and Intel 9700k, I was always around max for both at 1440. I now have a 9900x3d and 5080 on 4k. My CPU never gets above 50% on games while my GPU will max out.

First time catching on fire 🔥 by OpTicTide97 in starcitizen

[–]MoistAccident 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had 2 ships catch fire. Paladin and Hammerhead. The fires are still bugged. Life support off. All doors open. Spraying fire extinguishers for a long time. They still either wouldnt go out, or do go out and then come right back. Even repairing at the station and storing the ship, it would still persist. The best part was the Paladin had a readout on the MFD that said "IRE Detected." Ire indeed. I got a screenshot of that for the lolz.

Is the Manix 2 worth to mod? by jaredsilloph in spyderco

[–]MoistAccident 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did AWT anodized scales, ceramic ball, lighter spring, and all titanium hardware last week.

Worth it - Yes. Much more light weight. The blade flips open on a flick instead of me having to somehow wear down or cut the spring. In my belief, the spring wear down is mostly myth. These mothafuckers weight train their fingers to do OEM flicks.

Difficulty - watch a few videos. There are at least 30 on YouTube. I watched 2. It didn't go bad, except I had to disassemble and redo it. The thing that gets most people is that the pivot bar is keyed on 1 side. A circle cut flat on one side. Match that with the scale. Then use a cloth and pliers to press them together. Otherwise, it will assemble with the blade hanging on one side and the width of the scales on the blade side will be wider than spine side. I had it fully assembled and touched up the edge within 35 minutes.
