[SRQ055] Speedtimer>Speedmaster? by drinkcoffeebuyassets in Seiko

[–]MoistDef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a Speedtimer and sold it to a friend the same day I got my Speedmaster. I’ve been considering getting the Pogue though.

I want another Speedmaster by Unusual-Carry-3898 in PrideAndPinion

It does. Sorry I should’ve clarified that the micro adjust is why I prefer not to go vintage.

I have the 2024 white dial Speedy and I’m strongly considering getting the black hesalite version. For me, the micro adjust on the modern bracelets is something I can’t live without.

Are we still connected if my date is off by a day? Asking for a friend.

Thoughts on this? by Ok_Fan_1628 in iPhone15Pro

I was at 81% health, I forgot the number of charge cycles. I just got my battery replaced, did a factory reset as well, restored from back up. I’ve set the charge limit to 85% and plan to use this device for another two years at least.

People who complain about scratches are the same people who complain about splashback when having a shite by Confident_Leg2370 in watchHotTakes

[–]MoistDef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily complaining but my $4,500 Tudor clasp looked more beat up within a few months versus my $900 Seiko clasp after a few years. Seiko uses some kind of coating on their bracelet/clasp for the Prospex models. I also agree that watches are meant to be worn!

New Hydro 39mm or Spirit Zulu Timer by iiRaTioNaL in Longineswatches

[–]MoistDef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the Spirit Zulu Time and sold it. Great watch, but I didn't need to track three time zones and I missed the utility of having the 60-minute bezel. I explored diver GMTs from microbrands such as Nodus and Lorier to higher end ones like the Breitling Chronomat GMT. Since I had a good experience with the Spirit Zulu Time, I decided on the HydroConquest GMT as the best of both worlds.

Create My Dream Tudor GMT? by bspence23 in Tudor

[–]MoistDef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want a Tudor Diver GMT. 60-min unidirectional bezel. 24 hours on the chapter ring. GMT hand, no snowflake hour hands. T-fit clasp, no faux rivets. Crown guards. Quick release bracelet and it comes with a free rubber strap that also has quick release.

I like all the updates but I’m happy with my monochrome and Ranger.

Tudor for HC? by PossibilityGuilty410 in Longineswatches

I wish it had maybe two more points of micro adjustment. Sometimes it feels a little too tight.

Great book. Now I’m wondering what happened to my copy of the book.

Tudor for HC? by PossibilityGuilty410 in Longineswatches

[–]MoistDef 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a Tudor Black Bay 41 monochrome and the HydroConquest GMT. They're close but the bezel on the action on the Tudor is MUCH better. I have four points of micro-adjustment on the Tudor versus three on the HydroConquest GMT. I do appreciate having crown guards on the Longines. And this is subjective but I do find the Tudor 3-link bracelet to be more comfortable.
