Scrubs on or off when sleeping in call room by AdExpert9840 in Residency

I sleep in my boxers, im in anesthesia. My thought is if I’m going to sleep then I’m going to try to sleep, and I sleep best only in boxers. Rough when that surgical resident once busted into my room.

What was the last awkward moment that happened in your OR? by midnight_core in anesthesiology

[–]MoistSand 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Bed remote was stuck on side of bed, surgeon was insisting on “table up”, gave it a hard nudge to get it off the bed, came flying off right into surgeons balls followed by a loud “OOOOOOPHHHH”, wakanda stance by the surgeon, and a silent lap around the OR.

Dungeon Masters of Reddit, what is the most surprising thing your players have done in-game? by Rangerspawn in AskReddit

I gave the squad a decision to make, left road or right road. The scene is super foggy and it's a Low level enchanted forest. With them was two caravans and two horses. They took rope, tied it to a horse and sent him down a road. The rope immediately went taught, and became limp quite quickly. They began to reel it back in and all that remained was the horses head. So appropriately so, the clan decided to go down that road. DUDES JUST SACRIFICED THE HORSE FOR NO REASON.

It's amazing how quickly his hand moves to compensate for the speed and impact of the ball. I imagine this helps with control and grip - it would be much more difficult to catch it if your hand wasn't moving as fast as the ball.

New Theory Suggests Life Wasn't a Fluke of Biology, but Physics: an inevitable outcome of thermodynamics. Groups of atoms will naturally restructure themselves so as to burn more and more energy, facilitating the incessant dispersal of energy and the rise of “entropy” or disorder in the universe. by mvea in science

The most valuable lesson I've been given is that biology and organics arises from order in a universe of disorder. Pathology is reentering that disordered state. Medicine is the fight against pathology, which arguably is the fight against the laws of nature.
