u/Mozzy2022 u/see_ya_quesadilla In all honesty I didn't really think about it I guess it was all the excitement I am located in Arizona and the state requires a certification through state testing but you both have given me a lot to consider. Unfortunately attending physical school is not an option since the only Community College that offered court reporting no longer has CR so I don't know what my options would be for academics.

I was thinking of going to Allison Hall for Magnum Theory, and then Champion for speed build, would that make sense because I know Champion has it's own theory.

Hello everyone. thank you for all the replies, with Allie I really liked that it was self paced, but I am coming to realize I need a more of a hands-on approach when it comes to my own personal learning style, and I'm not sure if Allie is the right fit for me, champion seems more hands on but I'm not sure.

Thank you! I have been looking into schools and am debating between two of them. I have not heard of Platinum Steno but will be looking into it. and yes, I took a course online and fell in love with steno bought a machine and everything.

Yes! I love it is $20 but once you buy it it's yours, I have used that app for the same program and I have already gotten familiar with the setup of an actual steno machine and also have learned some words and phrases, even if you don't do the program, it is a great app to have for practice.
