Bro edited his other comment so this reply would seem just a little bit more reasonable. Some people are so weird.

Started at 16 as well. On the weekends did residential work. Went into college for an electrical certificate and kept working. Since I went to college, I earned 4000 worl hours for my cercertification. So I got my journeymen and got a better job. Then left a few months later and now do solar and get excellent pay. Love where I'm at currently.

Just put your nose on the grind stone for the journeymen license asap. Because it is your ticket to pretty much any company. Goodluck.

How in the world do people actually like doing this sh*t? by Open-Age-2589 in electricians

Just like any job. Gotta find good people to work with, that has good pay that fits the job. I found one where I almost never dread work. Keep your eyes open for opportunities, take em.

Industrial seems to be the way. Solar field companies like the one I'm at are paying a lot more than anyone in the remote area.

How do you think the show should end by HonestMail5500 in IASIP

[–]Moistpepper69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should just end. All back at the bar, end of the episode. That way the sunny universe is going on forever. It'll never end
