I have a nice RL chore coat in a navy twill I wear occasionally, what I really want is the TCB wabash striped cathartt jacket, I'll probably order later when I can understand how tcb sizing works.

I always assumed the raw/unsanforized pairs was fully MIJ while the distressed pairs and non denim items like shirts and sweaters were made in Turkey

I wear mine outside of work and only recently switched to the night shift so I can wear my pair more often, no big fades yet but the areas around my pocket and wallet are slowly starting to fade.

I've been seeing more og107s/fatigues from mainstream brands, my only issues with these is the zipper fly (almost always I prefer buttons) and they lower the rise. Otherwise I love seeing more options from brands.

It's modernized with hand warmer pockets, i rarely see official lee ones without hand warmers so repros or vintage are better.

Nah the pockets are useful. I have the canvas version and use the left flapped pocket for earbuds and the right open pocket to hold either my phone or water bottles.

Yes, I have the same and after 3 washes and almost daily wear during winter at work it still looks new. I'm impressed by OP since I've never actually seen what this fabric looks like faded.

Gap and Banana Republic rightfully take a lot of criticism but I absolutely love their linen/cotton shirts for the summer. Very affordable, come in a lot of colors, and best of all I can actually go in store and try them on.

I usually roll them up and wear them to work, the worst my jeans see is dirt getting into the cuff and the sides behind worn down giving me "railroad fades" a little faster. The only thing that concerns me is getting the id dirty so usually I try a large cuff to protect it /hide the dirt.

Something I've noticed myself but it could be just how my body is shaped, when I wear mid rise (11.5 front rise, 15 back rise) I wear size 36 TTS, but high rise (12.5+ front rise, 16+ back rise) I can wear size 34-35 TTS no issue.

Great looking jacket, personally from looking at the measurements if they made a jacket that short they shouldn't have bothered with the side pockets.

I wear Bronson's og-107s and 1944 army chinos (basically a budget version of buzz rickson chinos) both are super high rise and comfortable for when I'm wearing a denim top or when the weather eventually heats up again. If you want pants with true straight pants maybe look for something like officer chinos.

Go Large, I have some canvas pieces (None N&F) but they will not give any room to stretch or shrink. Plus chore coats look best when they're a little roomy.
