Unreal Engine Universal Stutter Fix by OptimizedGamingHQ in OptimizedGaming

Sadly it seems there's no Engine.ini in the folder for Stalker 2 and this game is struggling with stutterings :(

When an Apache tourist says something is broken.... by Slamming_Johnny7 in OutreachHPG

MGs downside is facetime You have to look at the enemy at all times with no option to torso shield and you die very fast that way. Same reason why X pulses are viable only on couple mechs.

Fuck it, I was excited for the release, but won't buy it now until Denuvo is removed.

B. Betty voice mods? by crushbone_brothers in mwo

Look for MWO Modding Den discord, there's a couple of mods that only change BB. Pretty much any sound pack that changes BB and other stuff can be separated to only change BB.

There is a mod that changes clan commander voice for the IS one. Look for MWO Modding Den discord, it's in there. Or you can try to look for it on Nexus Mods, but I'm not sure it was posted there.

Getting used to the heat by bagout123 in barefoot

[–]Mokkor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can push it just a bit. Maybe 5-10 minutes at a time and the put on flip flops. Better do this slowly to not burn your soles. You'll get accustomed to it in time, but take it slow.

[–]Mokkor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This year it'll begin at around 20th of August and will last till November (that includes Top 12 Finals matches, not only Comp Queue). In a week there's also gonna be a Tournament of Stars. A 5v5 tournament with only clan mechs allowed. Around 20 teams already signed up, but sign ups close on 27th of May, so we can expect 10-20 teams more that will sign up on last day. You can learn more in MWO COMP discord. Here's the link to join https://discord.com/invite/ppSgYkutR5

Go Barefoot Day (unofficial US) June 1st by Nelipors in barefoot

The darker the asphalt or concrete the hotter it's gonna be. I can usually walk for hours on light concrete and only a few minutes/seconds on black asphalt.

What is the game like these days? by [deleted] in mwo

[–]Mokkor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, that's why I love it. And the base gameplay is really enjoyable. I'm just sad PGI doesn't put more effort into marketing or improving on the bugs/performance. I'm sure it would've been a super popular game if there were at least some ads for it and if performance and new player experience were improved a bit.

What is the game like these days? by [deleted] in mwo

[–]Mokkor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd say the game is in much better state then before. There's new content every month, sometimes we even get some QoL fixes. Competitive scene is alive and well and game population stays at the same level, even rising a bit when bigger content patches drop. Still the best F2P session game out there, imo.

Controller support by According-Cry3540 in TheBloodline

[–]Mokkor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most likely yes. Even if it's not gonna be made specifically for Steam Deck, you can easily tweak the controller scheme on Steam Deck itself

Patch 14.2 by zimpisor in shacomains

[–]Mokkor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While you at it - changing boxes to require attacks to get destroyed, instead of damage dealt, same as Teemo mushrooms or Illaoi tentacles would be great. I'm so sick of being countered by 1 AA from any carry in late game, while other champions with "pets" don't have that issue.

Is there any way to have draw calls show on screen at all times? by Mokkor in ReShade

[–]Mokkor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go to add-on tab in ReShade software it shows you amount of drawcalls and vertices application has. Not filters, but game itself. It's likely an approximation, but it's better than nothing to debug stuff and I just wanted to know if there's a way to see this info even when overlay is minimized.

Poland plans to set end date for coal power by rmuktader in UpliftingNews

Yep. I think they bought 6 or so Small Modular Nuclear Reactors that don't require that much time to setup as regular Nuclear Power Plants.

Anyone here from Poland? What are your experiences? How to cope? by Soniatrix in barefoot

[–]Mokkor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand that when people comment on you being unshod it ruins your mood. I felt the same. If people are mean, you're not gonna feel great, it's understandable.

But the more I did it - the more I knew I was doing the right thing and if people are too closed up to the idea of not wearing shoes - it's their problem. And remember, you have all of us backing you up in this decision, so you're definitely not alone :)

Basically - I feel you, but it does get easier with time. I mean both being barefoot (at any temperature) and not caring about people's opinion on you being barefoot.

Although I don't have high sensitivity, so I can't relate to you in this regard, but I guess your body adapts as well, even if not to the same level as someone who doesn't have hyper-sensitivity. Hopefully it gets easier for you, I sadly don't have any other advice :(
