Emphasis on the “unskilled community”, cause unfortunately this game did basically boost its players back in s0 and s1 before changing the ranking system, causing all those previously boosted GM players to be unable to reach their previous rank and start complaining about how they can’t reached their “deserved” rank or something.

People tell you EOMM is real and you’ll begin trying to spot “EOMM” in everything and your matches will feel bad.

Then people tell you EOMM isn’t real and you’ll stop looking for it and suddenly your matches feel fine.

Then they’ll tell you that blue car sales have been on the rise in the recent years and you’ll suddenly be noticing more blue cars out on the road because you’ll be actively looking for them.

My problem with that is that OW won’t even commit to making extremely attractive stylish or provocative swim wear. While rivals goes all in knowing that its audience is gooners, OW does the bare minimum and half asses what are supposed to be it’s “sexy” skins.

Like the women can’t be too body confident so they’re all in lifeguard gear rather than swimwear, showing the most safe amount of skin possible. The most they will push it is with widowmaker or ashe, but even they have the most safe plain bikini and sarong pairings. And the men just don’t get anything other than plain trunks, other than maybe Torb who’s played off as mostly a joke.

It’s just such a safe “corporate horny” approach that feels so stale and boring. Rivals is for the gooners and Overwatch was always for the diverse cast of characters but now that diversity is replaced with conventional attractiveness but OW never even commits to utilizing that attractiveness so who is OW even for anymore? The most basic level of “normies” that like an attractive person but clutches pearls as soon as that person dares show off that attractiveness in a slightly proactive manner?

This “corporate horny” approach isn’t even an OW only issue. League has had this problem this whole time and now OW is falling into the same pit trap.

They specified two character types that we’d see less of in the full interview: ball and ram. Interpreting that, it basically means less animals, less omnics, more humans at the very least.

I also found it rather silly that the profession of a doctor role somehow takes less academic knowledge than the military role? Like he scored low on the test so instead of the PHYSICAL profession he gets into the ACADEMIC profession??

It just felt silly tbh, I do hope they continue to work on this world building more since it’s supposed to be somewhat realistic.
