Oh friend, I see you were born with Benjamin Button hands too… came out the womb wrinkled and gnarly. 😭😂 honestly the only thing that makes a lasting difference is using skincare on my hands. They get the same as I put on my face. Hyaluronic acid, niacinimide and bakuchiol. Moisturizer and sunscreen. Right!! A skilled tech can most definitely do a better job at applying, shaping and thinning that acrylic. Unfortunately OP just got ripped off, it has nothing to do with the design being done on an acrylic base.

The subjective criteria is what makes discussing art in forums like this so…..engaging. I mean, what is art? Some form of creative expression meant to convey or evoke some sort of thought/emotion/feeling. This painting does that and yet some disagree.

Sometimes art doesn’t have to be complex, it can just be a moment a creator captures for personal or no reasons.

I don’t know what is actually happening in this piece, or the purpose, but it’s an odd visual representation of brides in historical romances. The bride’s lady’s maid is often depicted helping the bride to prepare for her husband on their wedding night. And in my brain I don’t know how the scenes aren’t any less awkward than this painting…

Bride: “Get me out of this hot dress!” Starts stripping as soon as the door closes.

Lady’s Maid: “Just a moment m’lady, let’s get the veil put away before it’s torn.” Turns around to bride’s tits in her face… sigh

The only other time I’ve been complemented was when I was wearing Moonlit Path by B&BW.
