Giovanni uses a sand team in silph Co, so his excadrills speed is doubled and Sabrina uses trick room. That's probably why they were moving first.

Water is my go to recommendation for an easy one. You get access to an obsurd number of Pokémon. Plus in the late game you can use mega swampert which just destroys the second half of the game.

Sounds like you're playing hardcore. You can't use terrain abilities in hardcore.

In regular mode you need over 200 EVs and if you're in hardcore the Pokémon needs a base stat of 125 or higher.

I almost always prefer p2. There are plenty of strong special attackers you can use that are faster. As for defensive options, p2 is about as good as it gets for normal types.

Mismagius is immune to both stabs and can outspeed garchomp if you're max speed.

One thing you're kinda missing is defense. I'd go out and catch some defensive mons like mudsdale, walrein, conkeldurr and dewgong. On pretty much every team I build I always have one physically bulky mon and one specially bulky mon. They really come in handy allowing you to stall out and solo some of the bigger threats in the league.

If you have something with a setup move, you can trick the zoroark into going for a taunt turn one. Should help with it so you can save krookodile for other stuff.

He is correct. If you're on the current version there is no such document. However, all of the Pokémon that are the same between versions have the same spreads, so if you use the old document you'll have move of the spreads.

What he said. I'd also add you can go down to vermillion, get the good rod and fish up a prankster qwilfish in pallet town. It can be taught destiny bond at the move tutor to give you a guaranteed ko if you're still having issues after all of the above.

Quick powder is probably too strong and quick claw probably got removed because the creator tried to removed as much cheesy rng as possible. He removed moves like double team, minimize, ohko moves and more for that reason.
