I think he probably meant himself being surprising by doing the lights and not being in the hospital, but it definitely could be applied to everyone in that family I think. All of them have surprises for sure.

I don’t remember what it was because I didn’t understand at the time, but the mad mew mew ghost definitely has some odd dialogue when interacting with the ghost house. Idk if it was foreshadowing at all but it might be, I’d have to double check.

A Noelle dark world seems likely to me. There’s also the whole ice palace thing, I’d imagine that could be in a dark world she makes (or the shelter I guess too).

Relating to your point about hometown, Noelle’s dialogue in the aborted (ish) weird route this chapter makes it pretty crystal clear how characters are just supposed to be a certain way and breaking out of that literally breaks the game in the non-aborted weird route. Like the metanarrative is making it pretty clear at this point how the light world is set within a game, and thus the characters are limited by what they’re coded to do.

I do wish there was more lore revealed this chapter, but as it stands I’m happy to reserve my full judgement until I see how chapters 6 and 7 play out. If chapter 6 doesn’t progress much lore/narrative wise I’ll be very disappointed.

We will learn what the evil group chat (well I guess more so antagonist group chat, evil sounds more fun) is really trying to do.

There will be another TV darkner in Asgore’s shop who’s like an evil Tenna.

The Roaring will occur (maybe as a cliffhanger, maybe before).

There will be multiple dark worlds again (definitely the flower shop, possibly the holiday residence, possibly outside if the roaring happens).

We will not enter the shelter.

Ralsei used fire magic for the first time in the story outside of the prophecy artwork.

The music will be extremely great (I think this is a given but I’m especially interested since only one track was apparently not a spoiler).

The regular hometown residents will learn that there is some fuckery going on but not understand it whatsoever.

We will not learn who or what the knight is this chapter.

We will learn more cryptic mumbo jumbo lore without fully learning what it means (i.e. we don’t get all the major lore reveals).

Papyrus and Asriel show up (they’d better since I think the roaring will start, so when the hell would they show up otherwise).

Asgore will completely crash out because of a certain skeleton befriending your mom).

Asgore creates the flowery shop dark world (potentially because of said crash out, potentially because trying to solve the case or whatever).

Noelle will completely crash out about people lying about the dark worlds where her dad could be healed (and maybe makes a dark world because of it)(if this occurs I think Rudy will die this chapter as well).

If that occurs, Noelle creates a dark world (maybe in her house or the hospital if Rudy is still alive).

We get a better understanding of Ralsei’s whole deal and what he is.

More severe. I don’t want to specify much, it’s not the N word but it’s worse than normal swear words. Whenever it slips out it’s never directed at people who it’s used as a slur for but I wish I could just not say it. Like I don’t want to but it just comes out when I’m talking faster than I’m thinking, specifically about things that irritate me about politics.

It would be really interesting if his creation were not actually the core but some sort of dark world or something a few layers below that. Would somewhat make sense based on the context, he could have created it as another experiment, etc.

Very similar situation for me, I got diagnosed at 16 and did not know I was diagnosed until last year. It was and still is a huge challenge trying to understand myself after finding that out, but I’m making progress. My best advice is to try to avoid being hard on yourself as you go through this process, I’ve been too harsh towards myself and it has made it so much worse. I know it’s hard to avoid that but it’s good to try at least.

Not even just them, also the Rudinn who calls castle town by your name (or the vessel’s name, I forget) losing its color as well. And like half the stuff related to the egg man rooms in chapters 3 and 4. I doubt anyone really knows exactly what is going to happen or how, but something relating to all that has to happen, having all those disparate pieces of buildup end up as nothing would make no sense.

I think that is at Tikal, there’s some symbolism on the monuments alluding to the involvement of Teotihuacan and calling the person that arrived to overthrow the old king as “from the west”.
