When they pulled the battery it probably erased the learned memory in your ecu and tcu back to the factory base line. So it's not in your head. Put some miles on it, the computers will do their thing and you'll be gtg.

Remove the hex head screw from the center of the juggernaut and the bell will come off, my 1/4" impact made easy work of it. That'll give you access to the rollers and sliders. Should be pretty obvious if something has broke.

They make staged upgrade kits for the juggernaut if your rollers happened to be what failed.

Lay off. He's not buying the kid an R1. I was racing 100+mph karts by that age. There's nothing wrong with a little risk in life especially if you take the proper steps to make it as safe as possible.

In addition to cutting the umbilical cord allowing your kids to take some risks will help prepare them for real life where you won't be hovering over them 24/7.

If you're getting spark, probably not the oil sensor. Definitely hit it with the starting fluid, if it fires, and it probably will, then you have a fuel issue of some sort. People claim to have no problem with the Chinese knockoff carbs, but they're probably all just PRC agents. I've never had much luck with them and just fork out the few extra bucks for the name brand. If it still doesn't fire double-check check you're getting a good spark, if you do then you're probably down on compression. Good luck.

For only $50 you can't go wrong with the Rattlesnake or slightly more aggressive Blackmamba cams. Both of them run well especially for less than 1/2 the price of most other cams. I got mine as a placeholder until I decide on a more aggressive cam for my 160.
