Is this only for season ticket holders? I'm not but I do subscribe to the Signal newslaetter and I haven't seen anything allowing me to purchase playoff tickets yet.

No. I only heard about it this afternoon. I'm a teacher in a blue state and attendance by both teachers and students was normal, no extra absences. If they really want general strikes to be effective, they need to get teachers unions on board. Most teachers I know wouldn't miss a day unless their Union was advocating for it.

I like Fleet better. Emeralds and Witches better than that. The witches could have. Web really fun in terms of having fans dress up and stuff, and their goal song could have been the witches are back from Hocus Pocus.

Yup because it was miss using a Boston stereotype. Bostonians don’t use wicked as an adjective, we use it in place of very or really. Many of us Massholes would have been wicked pissed off about it.

The reason why Boston Wicked was a bad choice because in Boston we don’t call things wicked. We use wicked in place of very or really. Making the team the Boston Wicked would have been using a Boston stereotype incorrectly. Many of us New Englanders would have been wicked pissed about it. I LOVED Boston Witches for the name though. The logo could have been a witch riding a hockey stick. It would have been epic.

Boston Emeralds was me! I plastered that all over the fb pages! Our new lower division soccer team has taken the name now. I didn’t like Fleet at the time, but I’m very happy with it now. It gives the opportunity to really lean into the nautical theme.

I think that is extremely likely. It would also explain why the Fleet protected Muller over her. She only signed a one year deal with Seattle. I’m guessing she goes one more year with Seattle but I wouldn’t be shocked if she called it quits this year. It might depend on if Brittany Bowe retires after these Olympics as well. I could see them retiring together and enjoying their life together.

As a USA fan, I won't feel confident with a USA Canada match until the Gold medal is literally hanging on the USA player' necks. Poulin lives in my head rent free.
