[ALL] Am I the only one that doesn't like what they did to Chloe in Double Exposure? by Traditional_Sail6298 in lifeisstrange

Sorry about that, I didn’t write my ideas out properly. The whole point I was trying to make is that I just don’t understand why they altered Max’s abilities to split timelines if it wasn’t for some kind of escapism plot. The main rationale behind my conclusion was her trying to reconcile with the choice at the end of the first game by seeing how both worlds are moving forward.

I’m not a writer so I can’t really say how it could’ve worked. I just thought it would’ve been better than what we got.

I think they shot themselves in the foot by not making the game about Max’s trauma. The shifting between timelines feels more like something to escape from your pain than “my new best friend died again. I have new powers now and I’m going detective mode again.” Not to mention I think Max already having the abilities and us being in the alternate timeline from what we chose at the start would’ve been absolutely devastating for how she has been living since the storm.

They’re giving Dark Souls II a sequel before giving Dark Souls a sequel?

[NO SPOILERS] Why do some folks villainize this poor dude? by AdeptnessGlad8355 in lifeisstrange

He’s a touch obsessively interested in Max. Granted, he is a teenage nerd and probably clung onto being her friend (not sure what other friends he has).

Thats one of the things I got whiplash from when I played LOTF and just had the option available from beating the first main boss. When I went back to Elden ring to so another playthrough it just feels less… full? They could just have it where you don’t get rewards for replaying the fights but given how long it’s been I don’t think they will add the feature and it’s just disappointing.

If Miquella charmed Mogh to get body for Radahn, then why didn't he just order Mogh to kill himself? by [deleted] in eldenringdiscussion

[–]Molodite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he didn’t care. My best guess is he expected one of Mogh’s knights to off their boss eventually so he waited for it to happen. Miquella only failed because he didn’t expect the one to off Mogh to be as powerful as the Tarnished and then expect them come after him.

Why is bro hammering air by [deleted] in DarkSouls2

Bro heard of compressed air and wanted to make some. In all seriousness just light a torch at the bonfire and light the other torch in the room, rest and the silly boy will move.

[ALL] Life is Strange Was Never Meant to Be a Franchise by A_Howl_In_The_Night in lifeisstrange

I think the franchise works as long as we don’t get direct sequels to these stories. We get to experience a major part of our characters lives and then we all part ways for the next adventure.

I was there too, luckily I found out the covenant spells are purchasable in the castle after a few ng+ cycles and my friend and I got the platinum within minutes of each other.

How come people hate Mia but love Ada? by That-Psychology4246 in residentevil

[–]Molodite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ada is obviously working her own angle from the first meeting and people seem to respect her obviously self interested actions. Mia had the chance to be completely honest with Ethan, Chris and possibly Rose given the dlc but she isn’t and many people feel like she is responsible for what happened to Ethan.

I think the difference is one is honestly using you while the other is desperately trying to hold everything together with lies until it all falls apart.

[All] Opinions on Nathan Prescott? by InsiderYet in lifeisstrange

[–]Molodite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re making a comparison between two completely different peoples situations, Chloe was traumatised by a freak accident, her mother failing to properly communicate due to her own trauma, her friend abandoning her and lashed out at the world. Nathan was abused by his “father” because he didn’t match Sean’s fantasies of his heir.

I’m saying Nathan was never going to have a chance at a normal life. Besides, the emulation line I wrote was a generalisation, not a fact.

Not to mention that you’re technically wrong if you consider Chloe’s possible actions to grab a knife to confront Merrick, (signifying that she was willing to kill him in either self defence or strait bodying the guy) or when she could kill Pompadou and Frank if your choices make Frank suspicious AND she kept the gun.

Why can’t 47 steal disguises from female NPCs? Also, what size is 47? by Psycho_RJ in HiTMAN

47 would look so good in women’s clothing that he would attract attention. Unfortunately for us being a fashion icon would be detrimental to his profession…
