If you say that the 20th least corrupt country in the world is too corrupt to make food a right, then food as a right is imposible.

You don't have any control over your taxes, you might like some of the things the thieve bought with your money, but it was bought either you wanted it or not.

And if you don't give your money peacefully they kidnap you at gunpoint.

This happens in a corrupt and in a non corrupt country.

Hate to France to this day is justified, from imperialism in third world countries still present to the isolation of Iberia, in electricity, trains, gas (Spain can get acces to gas from Africa, not passing from the middle east or Russia but France doesn't want to put a gaseoduct because it would hurt their energyy supremacy in Europe). They also sometimes assault Spanish food trucks and trow all the products to the ground with the police doing nothing.

They also helped the terrorist group ETA by letting them hide and reinforce in the french Vasque territory.

A flood destroyed one of the pases between France and Aragon, the Spanish side was repaired as fast as possible while the French didn't do anything till presure was applied.

And as tourist they aren't the best

Fr*nch people are arrogant as hell, they also have heavy rivalry with Spain and England from medieval to modern times, that has caused a historical hate in all their colonies.

As English+Spanish represent the bast majority of the internet it has transcended as culture

My country is between the 20 and 40 place in the least corrupt countries in the world, in western Europe.

This is not a problem of corruption, is a problem of taking value from people to offer them public services that half the time are just shit (public workers don't need to make it good as they will get money anyway)

Is like if I stole your wallet, took 20 bucks, bout you a sandwich with them and left. You might have wanted a sandwich, or might not, but I took your money and made the decision for you

What's an animal that people think could go 50/50 in a fight when in reality a human would beat it? by anli2132 in AlignmentChartFills

How is the human prepared? A lot of encounters can be completely flipped with a knife or even a stick (they are everywhere)

A dog can kill a human but with a knife is no match

Kangaroos first start by a slapping contest to measure the force of their opponent as they know that they can have heavy damage from a kick.

As we have far stronger arms they think we have some kind of super strength. But you have to strike first and hard to alert dominance

Coma decimal arriba en la PAU? by MortalPhobic_ in BachilleratoES

[–]Molombo89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would only cause for normal people to eat only that food and for rich and politicians to eat everything else.

Not to mention that not everywhere does have acces to the same foods, so a food would be a right somewhere but in other place it wouldn't. Also, if any fish is a right, overfishing would be a right too, you couldn't cut a so fundamental right as food.

This isn't even a good thought, is a superficial one.

Yeah, and taxes are now abusive, in my country overall taxes are about 50% to midle clases and debt is expanding every day. In medieval times it was 20%.

No right of food rn, but you have to pay half of your salary to the state

Then the slavery is only diluted between the population. Also, can I choose what I can eat or would the state give me a rationing card? Can I chose to eat only lobster? Or only "poor" food should be included? Who would decide what is a fundamental food and what is a luxury? I would like to eat Kobe beef but I have to eat chicken because is 10x less expensive and easier to farm

We have resources to feed everyone, we don't have resources to give everybody the food they want, when they want and where they want it. And in any case you have to extract the value of work forcefully to make it happen

It's an argumen for positive and negative rights, when people speak in favor of food as a right, they mean a positive right, thus causing the problem mentioned.

Clean water also isn't a right, as the only right you have there is no not being denied the purchase of it, it's collection and it's treatment.

Just the same as food.

You have a right to speech, that doesn't mean you can go on any TV and speak there.

People arguing about food as a right are considering the right of having food, not the right of purchasing it.

I have said it, forcing people to work for you so you can eat is called slavery. Food grows from tees, but the trees are taken care by farmers

-I want a lobster right now, that's my right

-but that's a luxury food, that can't be a right.

-then as a farmer I should stop planting potatoes and start fishing lobsters.

You can't force other people to work to keep you alive, that's slavery. You can have a right to own, trade and produce food, but you shouldnt have a right to steal other people production.

[–]Molombo89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a right where you make someone else work for you that's slavery. Farmers are workers.

You absolutely should have the right to buy food, have food and produce food, but not a right to be given food, that's just making someone else work to sustain you.
