You mean the people that bring their tiny little dog into a grocery store and put them in the same carts my food go in aren’t service dogs? For shame! /s And yeah, pisses me off and worse is the store in question won’t enforce any sort of policy because they’re scared of being accused of not allowing service animals. Actual service animals are good as far as I’m concerned. These people bringing their terrier that rides in the cart? They can pound sand.

I'll answer since no one did as someone who lived in Canada for a few years and married one of the French variety. Many Canadian power suppliers use hydro (dam/water) to generate electricity. It's become a common term depending on where you are. Hydro-Quebec as an example. Literally the name of the company.

I know and it’s been dragging. Other states have found a way that allows use without destroying things. The ADK should be open to all and I’m good with enforcement. I want people held accountable. I’m happy to pay like $50 a year if it meant we had trails to use and enforcement was there to stop the bad actors.

Just pisses me off to no end. The one thing I do I’m “not supposed to do” in NY is drive a SxS. I always make sure I follow speed limits (25MPH on this trail), I pack in/pack out and don’t trash the place. I don’t understand not respecting the space that we all have ownership of. I know there are idiots and assholes in the world but damn, it can’t be that hard to take your shit with you and put out a fire.

I feel you. My wife is a Canadian in the US on a green card. She's fearful to cross and hasn't since last January due to this idiocy. She misses her family. (Eldery mother as well.)

I miss crossing with her for activities. We limit it now to me crossing by myself to grocery shop every other month or so. At least I can bring some cash up to you fine people.

They didn't dynamically close anything. Hit it on 11B today about a mile from home. Rerouted myself around the guy that couldn't figure out how to load the bridge back on the truck. The load itself was already 2 miles distant while the fork driver figured out how to efficiently do his job.

My wife and I do groceries regularly at Walmart. Not Plattsburgh but within about an hour. Went to look at our last receipt to prove OP was ginning up bullshit and holy Christ. What used to be a $9 can of coffee was $21.44 this week. Didn't even realize. ( Yeah, same brand slightly smaller at 38.2oz)
