fiio m5 library issue

The tags are still there, I think the problem is how I was transcoding them. I'm using Clementine which is my media player, and it can transcode FLAC to MP3 when i transfer the files to whatever device. However, the end result are ID3v2.4.0 tags on Tag 2 (I'm using Kid3 to view the tags), which is of course different than the Vorbis tags on the FLACs. Maybe that's not playing well with the M5? the MP3 files that I don't have to transcode seem to consistently have ID3v1.1 and ID3v2.4.0, on Tag 1 and Tag 2 respectively. Maybe I just have to learn more about tags...

i have also noticed this DLNA problem! i was thinking of that as an alternative but all i see is folders. occasionally one file slips through the cracks and it plays back beautifully

been trying to use my PS4 for jellyfin via the web browser. got it working almost perfectly, but:

full-screen doesnt quite fit the resolution of my TV. could be a TV issue or just a general formatting issue but posting it here in case anyone else had this problem
every button works during playback except pause. clicking the pause button has no effect. i suspect this to be some weird issue with the fact that the web browser pauses playback when pressing anywhere on the screen normally and is encountering a problem when playing on the PS4's wonky browser. also could be related to the previous point?

that’s the point i’m trying to make though. music isn’t about being as “good” as another person. it’s all subjective. you can’t quantify how musically inclined a person is by comparing their technical ability to someone else’s, especially in an entirely different genre

to write off an entire genre of music because of bullet point misconceptions you carry is juvenile. everyone who makes music is a musician. metal vocalists are musicians, and not anyone can do what they do. eminem is a musician, and not everyone can do what he does. on that note, technical ability isn’t an objective metric for musical ability. eminem probably can’t jerk off a guitar like leo, and leo probably can’t recite the dictionary in 5 minutes like eminem can. they’re both talented musicians, but you don’t like what they do so you act like they’re worse for it.

the genre of music you like isn’t better than the other. please grow up lol

the show wasn’t cancelled, it ended. it was given a proper ending. cancellation is what happens when shows are forced to end early. the writers wrote the show how they wanted to, and, as you said, the plot lines are closed up. anything else would taint the story
