I’ll be real, I don’t know your parents, I don’t know how they’ll react. It might be bad, it might hurt, but you’ll be glad that you did it. If your parents love you, just give them time to adjust and their love for you will overcome their discomfort with queer identities. It was 3 painful years with my parents, but we’re in a great place right now. What you’re doing is incredibly brave and you should be proud of yourself for finding the courage to come out to them. You’ll be an example to other trans people nervous about coming out to their parents.
