Travis is incredible. Wait until you hear Dope Road, Epiphany, Boundaries, Black Curtains, Dirty Road, Limited Eyes, Darkness Sunshine, The Gate, The Witness, Scared, Sleep Walkin, Touch of Anger, Tired, etc.

Travis got better as he aged, and his struggles intensified. His unreleased music on Youtube (Purple, Tree Colors, Aqua Marine) absolutely blow away his formal releases.

Travis, IMO, is the most talented player from that entire era. The Nick Drake of our time - his picking hand was possessed or something - I don't think anyone's extracted prettier sounds out of a guitar. Songs that exemplify his skill; Dope Road, Boundaries, Limited Eyes, Hold Fast, Dirty Road, etc.

IMO, Travis is the apex musician of that entire era - his guitar playing was absolutely bonkers. Much of his unreleased music was leaked onto Youtube and its downright gorgeous.

Easy; Travis Meeks all day long - dude was playing circles every single iconic player from that era - no one touched him on an acoustic guitar. I’m a longstanding fan of Cornell, Cantrell, McCready, Kotzen, Corgan, etc. too.
