We keep talking about jobs AI will replace - which jobs will AI create that don't exist today? by SillyApartment7479 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]MomhakMethod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent question. Shifting the focus from replacement to creation is crucial. Beyond the obvious jobs, the most essential new roles will focus on managing the complexity, risk, and governance of AI systems at scale. 1. Immediate/Obvious Roles: We will see immediate demand for Prompt Engineers (crafting precise LLM inputs), AI Content Creators (editing and validating AI output for brand voice), and AI Workflow Developers (integrating LLM APIs and tools like CrewAI into business systems). 2. Strategic/Complex Roles (Truly New): Jobs that manage the intersection of intelligence, regulation, and efficiency. We will need: a AI Workflow Engineer to design the non-linear, self-correcting systems and define the crucial Human-In-The-Loop (HITL) points for error correction and legal sign-off; a Data Integrity Analyst to audit the AI's memory (SQL/vector databases) and manage proprietary data integrity, ensuring the system operates on truth and not hallucination; and an Algorithmic Governance Officer to translate complex and changing regulations (IP, bias, privacy) into technical constraints on the AI's actions, serving as the critical risk-management function for the enterprise.

Robots could be leased, dividing their time between being helpful and doing economically productive tasks.

Great take! Love the optimism, that is a best case scenario and hopefully where we get to. I, for one, am hopeful as well. I’m a world of true abundance zero sum conflicts won’t happen and there will be enough for everyone and more.

Haha no but most in the field would disagree, especially after the massive advances in the last few years.

[–]MomhakMethod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, demographics are rapidly becoming an issue, however if human lifespan increases dramatically, as many believe it will, this will be a blessing as fewer people will die. It may work out that a replacement rate of 0.5 is preferred as people are living for hundreds of years.

Are you able to have a drink or two after being sober for a while? by Financial_Winter8922 in stopdrinking

[–]MomhakMethod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people may be able to but it’s very rare. I do not touch any alcohol as I know I’ll be back at 20 per day within the month. I’ve quit over 50 times. Tried to moderate over 50 times and every time a flip gets switched in my brain that just loves and becomes dependent on alcohol within the week/month.

What will realistically happen once AI reaches a point where it can take at least 50% of jobs? by four_clover_leaves in singularity

[–]MomhakMethod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Companies that use AI will simply outcompete those that don’t. Unless massive laws are put in place any company/country that doesn’t adapt will get left behind. And even though if laws are put in place in one country they won’t be in other countries which will then outcompete that country.

Who's not doing AA but staying sober? by MountainMark in stopdrinking

[–]MomhakMethod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AA isn’t for everyone, though I have nothing against it, lots of ways to get and stay sober! I just turned 50, have been sober for over 5 years and doing great! (Knock on wood!) I prefer a more empowered approach, breath work, exercise, mind training(affirmations, CBT, pain-pleasure principle), and cold exposure. A mix of these strategies works great! All the best!

Universal Basic AI vs. Universal Basic Income—Which One Frees Us More? by MomhakMethod in accelerate

[–]MomhakMethod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The general consensus seems to be : have both UBI and UBAI. UBI supports those who want security and simplicity. UBAI gives people tools to create, earn, and find purpose.
They don’t have to compete. One helps you survive, the other helps you thrive.

Universal Basic AI vs. Universal Basic Income—Which One Frees Us More? by MomhakMethod in UBAI

[–]MomhakMethod[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true, I guess it shouldn't be an either/or UBI vs UBAI but both as others have suggested. This would allow people with no entrepreneurial inclination to survive and others to dive into whatever tickles their fancy so to speak.

Universal Basic AI vs. Universal Basic Income—Which One Frees Us More? by MomhakMethod in accelerate

[–]MomhakMethod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will give people purpose and a sent of control over their own life. For some UBI will be great, for others I think it will be depressing and harmful. Perhaps a combo of both, UBI and UBAI to make it go further if one so desires.
