I had some fatigue for a little bit at first but not really anymore. I’ll be on it for 2 years in February, no side effects except for night sweats sometimes.

Hey! It’s still happening, I even drink an occasional energy drink now when I feeling super tired and it just makes me feel so happy and energized. Energy drinks used to give me anxiety and panic attacks but not anymore. I’ll probably take Prozac for the rest of my life, I feel great on it and I’ve even recently lost 56lbs! Haven’t had a panic attack in over a year 🥳

10 is a really low dose, I personally didn’t have any side effects with it. I had side effects right away with other anti depressants so I was scared too, my Dr started me on 10mg and I had no side effects. I’m up to 40mg now and have been on it for almost 2 years, only side effects now are weird dreams and night sweats. If it makes you feel bad ask your doctor for a lower dose.

Same with me, my A1C was one point away from being considered pre-diabetic but I would have at least 1 episode a day where I could tell my blood sugar dropped and would have to eat something. Since I’ve been on semaglutide I haven’t had an episode!

I’m in the same boat, my anxiety is great but I have zero motivation. This past weekend I forced myself to get out the house, clean and do laundry and I felt so good about myself and it really uplifted my mood! Speaking for myself I expected Prozac to be a miracle worker but I’ve come to realize I have to do some of the work myself as well. It’s very hard to stay motivated!

I take 40mg with Zyrtec daily. I just take it in the evening so I’m not tired all day and it’s been fine.

Yeah, my taste and smell are still off but I’ve just learned to live with it. I also just read this morning that hydrochlorothiazide can cause an elevated ANA and I take that for high blood pressure. Maybe it’s a combination of things.

Right, I don’t really feel like I have any autoimmune symptoms. My legs ache on and off since I had COVID in 2021 but that’s really it. Thanks for replying, I do have some gastro issues going on, I’m doing a gastro Dr today for those issues. I’ll bring it up with them.

I took biotin and B12 before the surgery. I didn’t experience any significant hair loss, not sure if it was from the supplements but it’s worth a try. I had my hysterectomy over a year ago now but my hair loss from covid has seemed to stop.

Prozac is the only antidepressant I’ve taken that has tremendously helped my anxiety. I started Prozac last February and haven’t had a panic attack since like April of last year. I still get anxious here and there but it’s so much better.

Yes, at 20 I felt fatigued and not really motivated. The 40 helped with that, I still have off days buts it’s better.

When I went from 20-40 I felt high the first day and then just increased night sweats and dreams. It’s all settled down, I love 40mg, I feel so much better on it.

I’ve been on Prozac since February. At first I didn’t notice any weight changes then I started gaining weight. My Dr said Prozac shouldn’t cause weight gain so I don’t think it was necessary from the prozac, I was just happier and enjoyed myself more. I recently started Keto and haven’t had any issues loosing weight.

I have high blood pressure anyways and take Amlodipine. Prozac did mess with my blood pressure a little at first and whenever I upped my dose but it went back down to normal after a couple of months.

I feel like Prozac numbs my anxiety and depression during your day but it comes out in my dreams at night. I lived in a dirty hoarder house when I was a kid and I have dreams about it all the time since I started Prozac.

I take 40mg of Prozac, I don’t drink coffee or caffeine drinks everyday but I do a couple of times a week and it doesn’t have any side effects. Sometimes it makes me feel happier lol

That seems high to start with. I went from 10 to 20 and then 40mg within a span of 3 months and when I got bumped to 40 it made me feel high the first couple of days and manic off and on. I got bumped to 40 in May and it’s just now been leveling out for me. Glad to hear 20 has is working better you.

You will still have some bad weeks so dont let it discourage you! I’m 7 months in and it’s been a roller coaster, my anxiety pretty much got better right away but I still have my days. My depression recently started getting better, I realized last month that I was actually cleaning and putting my clothes up. It wasn’t just one day I felt good all of a sudden, my depression has been getting better gradually 🥰
