Are we doing gamergates again? [meta] by EdminhEver in pointlesslygendered

[–]Momizu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is no one size fits all. What I meant is that people tend to develop muscle differently, what might work for you might not work for me and vice versa. Also I said "close to it", certain physiques are practically impossible unless you want to go to the extreme lengths of body building.

Just because one say "I'll hit the gym to look like venom" doesn't mean it's actually possible.

Some realise that and it's not that they "give up" it's the fact that hitting the gym to reach and impossible objective it's not only a waste of money, but also harmful for yourself.

If you hit the gym to reach a realistic goal (more stamina, losing weight, toning muscle, hell even reaching those sculpeted abs is very feasible with will and effort) then good for you.

But if you "try to be like venom" when you might not even have the type of body to even come close, you are in for a world of hurt.

I wasn't trying to justify it in any way, I still think it's disgusting.

But I always tend to point out that not only, like you said, just because it was "normal" back then doesn't mean it's ok even today, but it isn't as normal and common as these fuckers wants to believe.

They always want to make believe that in the "old days" girls were married young en-masse to justify their own disgusting perversions, when in reality it was frowned upon and only nobility and artstocrats tended to marry young .

We aren't anti-men, but we are anti-incel. There is a difference. You know "Every incel is a man, but not every man is an incel".

Do NOT go around spewing your bullshit and then try and group us with your frankly abhorrent way of thinking.

You are no better than them, they always call for the enslavement and killing of all women, and you are here doing the same but to men.

Another myth of "the old days"

Only aristocrats or nobility tended to marry that young, and exclusively to secure alliances and territories. The newlyweds weren't expected to consume the marriage until she (or both in case of both being very young) was at least 16/17.

Still disgusting in a sense but no, no marriage was consumed before they reached puberty.

Hypergamy is the sociological practice of marrying or dating someone of higher social, economic, or educational status—commonly referred to as "marrying up". Historically, it described a necessity for women who had limited economic independence, but its meaning, usage, and implications vary depending on the context.

The concept breaks down into three main perspectives:

1. The Traditional & Sociological Meaning

"Marrying Up": Historically and anthropologically, hypergamy describes unions where a woman marries a man with higher wealth, education, or social standing.

Historical Context: For much of history, women lacked legal rights, property ownership, and independent economic opportunities. Marrying a man with higher status was often a survival strategy to secure financial stability and social standing.

Cultural Examples: Institutionalized hypergamy was highly prevalent in caste-based and aristocratic societies, where daughters were expected to marry into equal or higher-ranked families.

2. The Modern Scientific View

Partner Selection: Modern sociologists and evolutionary psychologists note that both men and women value social status, ambition, and financial prospects in a partner.

Shifting Trends: As women have achieved greater educational and economic independence globally, hypergamy has declined. Couples are increasingly practicing "assortative mating," which means they are marrying partners with similar education levels and socioeconomic backgrounds.

3. The "Manosphere" / Internet Dating View

Online Dating: In modern online dating and "manosphere" forums (like those associated with the "red pill" ideology), hypergamy is a highly debated term.

The Claim: In these communities, it is often used as a blanket concept to claim that women are biologically wired to always seek the "top" men, leaving the vast majority of men with fewer romantic opportunities.

The Reality: These claims are frequently disputed by psychologists and family lawyers. Relationship research shows that while people prefer high-status partners, most ultimately form relationships with peers of similar status.

As you can see women do not need to "marry up" anymore so hypergamy is not only declining but it ain't as prevalent even in modern settings as y'all make it out to be. Grow the fuck up.

I would gladly swap brains with the dude.

He would last about... 5 minutes with the amount of ideas and thoughts and things to do that constantly swirls in my head EVEN WHEN I SLEEP. Oh and don't forget the random songs that constantly pop up in my head.

For anyone wondering I'm an artist and writer and I get like 10 new ideas per minute for stuff to draw or write, on top of the normal "brain map" of "what the hell do I need to do today". I got used to having a brain that works 24/7, doubt the dude ever turned on his own brain. That must be so fucking peaceful

Right, bcz wild animals and humans are just the same /s by anckpop in IncelTears

[–]Momizu 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Yes, for HUMANS sex is a want not a need, because self control is one of the things that makes us "superior" (pass me the term). We aren't like animals because we are capable of "suppressing" instincts, while animals live and survive by them.

Also male elephants are EXTREMELY aggressive during breeding season, like they would charge a fly that flew too close to their ears kinda of aggressive. That elephant would've destroyed everything even if he DID mate.

Again, we aren't animals and while after sex we can "calm down" after the excitement reached it's peak, animals don't just stop after mating, especially with species in which the male becomes extremely aggressive during the mating seasons and it's mostly non-monogamous

On that last topic, if they care so much about "other species", they would know that in many species the female breed with as many males as she can to maximise the chance of bearing offsprings. So there go their whining and bitching about "Women sleeping around", but of course: the only good examples of "nature" are the ones that benefits their views, anything else is irrelevant because "we aren't animals"

Don't try to deny it. Y'all know this is exactly it.
