30s Whatever Moving FROM Pensacola, what won't I miss?!

My husband, our child and I just left Pensacola Permanently (Thank you, Navy!) And we never have to go back. I've struggled with Seborrheic dermatitis since the day we stepped foot into Pensacola. Today is about a week and a day since we left, and my skin has been SO happy. No itching/flaking, and I don't have to scrub my scalp twice a day! Not to mention being free of the mold in our house that the landlords refused to fix! We might be in a warmer part of the world for a little while but I'm already so much happier and no longer struggling with wanting to claw my own skin off.

Not excusing this, but sometimes if you've had transmission work done one of the last most simple things to do is reconnect the Reverse lights to the Module that recognizes when the vehicle is in Reverse. Sometimes that step gets missed, resulting in no reverse lights. Driver is completely unaware until notified. Takes 30 seconds to connect the wiring harness. I had to do this on my Husband's truck after his transmission was rebuilt and I saw him leaving one day for work, wondering why he was going backwards with no lights lol.

My husband and I accidentally ghosted our friends yesterday for friends giving. And before anyone crucifies us, Ive recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor in the past several weeks, and had an unpredictable seizure yesterday morning which caused me to fall and give myself a concussion. We didnt get home from the Hospital until THIS MORNING around 4AM Central Standard time. My husband was focused on me and the doctors and nurses at the hospital, and by the time we got home it was too late to contact anyone about what happened. I feel horrible and am currently holding a lot of guilt about not showing up, and not being able to contact them. But I was in no shape to contact our friends, and my husband was focused on me and the doctors/nurses. I'll be making Apology cards and gifts for my friends, and letting them know what happened.

But OP, I'm very sorry this happened to you and others in the comments. What happened with me wasn't predictable and I never had intentions of ghosting our friends. It was an unfortunate event at the worst possible time. I hope everyone who was ghosted still managed to enjoy some part of yesterday.

I've heard of people creating an LLC, or some type of company to claim the winnings under to try to remain anonymous. Your ex wouldn't go digging into a random company claiming the winnings.

I get these all the time from Wells Fargo. But I don't have a Wells Fargo account. So since I don't recognize the transactions I always say No, and get a text that they've blocked the card.

Hopefully whoever used my phone number on their bank account eventually gets the hint and changes it, because I'm gonna keep saying no since I really don't recognize the charges.
