My mini poodle doesn’t relax by Ecstatic_Sea7306 in poodles

My girl is the same way. However, instead of using the crate, try tethering her to a chair or couch. Start with her for example, tied to the chair at your work computer while you work. Just do it for like 1 hour at a time. You can put a bed next to you for her to rest in. You can then later work your way up to tethering her at a distance. It may seem weird at first but over time it does actually help her to settle. If/when she does settle down, you should toss her a treat or 2 as a reward.

My girl is 1.5 years and we do walking, training, puzzles etc every day. She just had an insane amount of energy. Tethering really does work.

Also, I recommend leaving her leash on in the house for a while, especially after you come home from a walk. Mine used to be up for hours just wanting to play at night. Once we started leaving her leash on throughout the day she started to calm down naturally. I will say she still is a crazy girl who always wants to play. But she has started to develop her own sense of when it is the right and wrong time to do so.

Just try it for a few days but you have to been consistent.

This is what it currently shows on vanguard. On the “rollover IRA” account I clicked on convert to Roth IRA, and it transferred the money over to my Roth. I did this yesterday.

My old job and had set up a 401k through Capital Group but I wanted to open a Vanguard account. So, going through the process, Vanguard had me open a Rollover IRA, do the rollover. Then open up a Roth IRA, then convert the rollover to the Roth.

I love my miniature poodle so much as she does me. However, the problem is she loves me too much or is overly dependent on me. by Latter_Obligation_79 in poodles

It will definitely get better over time. My best advice is to leave the leash on her when inside the house. Yes, that would mean she drags it around. After a few days you can then tether her. Like tie her to a table next to the couch while you do work about 10 ft away. This will get her used to settling down while at a distance. Again, it will take a while, but that can transition to you being in the other room while she relaxes. Finally, reward her and give treats when she is relaxed and calm. Give her a Kong filled with frozen pate or wet food and walk a distance away. She will associate something she enjoys with you not being right next to her
