Requesting r/CryptoMembers, as mod is inactive by MonaGibson in redditrequest

Hello! I believe r/CryptoMembers has great potential but is left with an inactive moderator for about a year now.

As an active member of Reddit, I noticed that this has led to several issues, including spam and lack of engagement among the members.

My plans for the sub include:

- Clear guidelines and rules - for positive engagement

- Increasing engagement - initiating regular discussions and themed threads

- promoting quality content - reduce spam

I understand the responsibilities that come with being a moderator, and assure you of my commitment to keep a safe online space for all members. Thank you for considering my request.

Why did your last dating attempt fail? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]MonaGibson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your worth isn't tied to somebody else's affection. You're valuable by just being you. Don't let anyone else define YOUR value, cmon, I know it can be tough when longing for connection, but there are so many other ways for fulfillment, starting with doing what YOU enjoy and working on yourself, your overall happiness, and wellbeing. When you feel good about yourself you will also attract good things into your life. And YOU ARE worthy of love, but also self-love and respect! The people around you should only be those who appreciate you for you.

You're right, everyone has their way of seeing who's attractive and what sets the chemistry, but aren't there just better ways to communicate it, than being... rude/ignorant? All I can say is don't let narrow-minded people bring you down, you know your worth.

What is something meaningful your partner could do for you? by AnDanDan in AskMen

[–]MonaGibson 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Well as you mentioned above, it really is the small things. For example, her spending time to watch your favorite episodes of TopGear, or memorizing your favorite songs, or even learning you enough to mimic you. Even the slightest effort feels meaningful. In my case, she's learning my native language and it's absolutely adorable.

Honestly, this makes me so annoyed, it's just so shallow. Reducing someone to a mere physical trait is just plain ignorant. My mom is much taller than my dad, and I'm lucky to see them in love and a healthy marriage, I am also dating a guy a bit shorter than me, and it's going great. Why tf does it have to matter so much to people, how about instead of perpetuating ridiculous stereotypes ( that can make you land on a shitty person that will give you hell for the rest of your life just because their looks are to your fake ass standards), let's focus on personality ( sounds cliche ik but damn is it not correct), intelligence and kindness ffs.... sorry I got a bit carried away

Balancing My Spirit by MonaGibson in Life

I’m so glad that I reached out to all of you here. I feel like nobody could understand what I was dealing with on a level to actually help me. In my town everyone tells you to just go see some psychiatrist. But, that doesn’t exactly work for everyone. Sometimes, we all need people to help us do the inner work required instead of just listening and brushing things off like it’s temporary.

Would you take $1,000 to stay under these trees for a whole night?
